They became friends, they're both comfortable at each other. They got more closer when sunoo starts telling his life. He told him everything, every detail because he knows that sunghoon won't judge him. He knows sunghoon can understand him and just like that he's right because no one understand him as much as sunghoon can.
"I can't still understand the formula, can you teach me later?" sunoo asked while handing the book he borrowed at him
"only if you kiss me" sunghoon said teasing
"YA! FUCKING WAKE UP, WEIRD MOTHERFUCKER!" sunoo said and drop the book loudly but sunghoon just laugh at him
But sunghoon would still teach him about it. Funny on how they're competing before, fighting for score and observing each other if someone cheats or not but now they're freely teaching each other.
Actually, They both tease each other and will stop if they sense that something wrong. Both of them are sensitive that's make them more understand each other.
Through the days and night, through the ups and low they're at each other's back.
"Can we runaway?"
the first time sunghoon called and the first time they both feels free.
sunoo would immediately go out even if it's in the middle of the night, even if it's raining because he knows what it feels being lonely, no one to asked for.
They're at the seaside in the middle of the night, only the sounds of the waves and the wind can be heard
"Why?" sunoo asked as he look at sunghoon who's crying
sunoo's the only person, sunghoon can show everything too.
"Why do they treat me indifferently. My siblings receives more than mine when i'm literally the oldest?" sunghoon asked while tears keep on falling, sunoo immediately hug him and cried with him.
sunghoon rants out everything on how his sibling got more allowance and gifts while his was just not even the half and no gifts.
you might find it simple why making a big deal? but no. everyone has different experiences, everyone has different pain tolerance, everyone has different emotions. if you think it's just like that then for sunoo and sunghoon it really hurts because a simple feeling of treated differently hurts them so much.
"I got you, we got each other's back." sunoo said while patting sunghoon's back and sunghoon just smiled but his smile disappeared when he saw the sunoo's wrist, it's fresh.
Sunoo knows sunghoon was looking but he didn't hide it because he knows sunghoon won't judge, sunghoon won't ask about it.
"You comfort really better, always remember you got me too.. we got each others back" sunghoon said while smiling at sunoo and sunoo just smiled back
After a minutes of silence finally someone broke it
"My dad and mom's fighting again... i don't know what gotten to them... but it's tiring hearing them again and again." sunoo starts while looking down, tears starts falling
"My siblings must be so traumatized always seeing our parents fight.. they almost kill each other today." sunoo adds
he really likes opening up to sunghoon because he know sunghoon's listening genuinely. he's listening, he always listen.
"It's tiring that i hope i can escape this shits forever." sunoo said while sobbing at sunghoon's arm, sunghoon's hugging him and giving him a gently pat at the back
"Can we promise each other?" sunghoon asks and sunoo just looked at him
"Can we promise each other that no matter what happens, we'll stay alive." sunghoon asks and sunoo got taken a back
Both of them wants to live of course, let's be honest here. No one wants to die, no one especially when you have everything, world's perfect, society's nice, environment's healthy... would you still want to die? because for sunoo and sunghoon no, they don't want to die. They want to live... if it's just world isn't cruel enough for them everything would be fine... everything.
"Live for me and i'll live for you." sunghoon adds again and sunoo just nod.
pinky swear. promise sealed.
Through ups and down... they got each others back.
