Sunoo is so disappointed on his self, he blamed himself. He hates himself, he can't understand it anymore. He almost failed their exam, he's so frustrated.
Is it because while answering all he think was sunghoon? or is it because he's so nervous to the point that he's mind got blanked while answering?
'Why am i being like this!? i should be happy! he passed!?' he thinks as he starts hitting himself
He's now guilty on what he did, he grab his phone and was about to text him but his mother startled him.
"STUDY! YOU ALMOST FUCKING FAILED!" his mom said and grab his phone
"Can you let the phone stay here-" a slap made him shut up
"NO! You can't learn on your phone!" his mom said and locked the door
He's hungry for real but his mom wouldn't let him out unless he finished studying, funny isn't it? academics matter to them the most.
Another days passed by, they both got busy and distant each others especially their finals would come soon, but of course sunghoon still tries his best to approach sunoo but sunoo would turn him down.
"Can we at least talk and tell me what's the problem?" sunghoon ask while looking at sunoo who's busy reading
"Leave me alone, i need to fucking ace this!" sunoo said still looking at his books
"Why? please tell me-"
"I NEED IT! I FUCKING NEED TO ACE IT!" sunoo said, his anger burst out and there sunghoon understand it, sunoo's really turning back to his old self... for real
Sunghoon didn't study, he's preoccupied on why sunoo's doing it again. He's now laying at his bed spamming sunoo some messages but sunoo won't read it, for the past days no replies. as in no. not even read.
His father opened the door of his room that's why he immediately sit properly and hide his phone.
"Sunghoon, come out." sunghoon feels like he can't hear... it's his first time hearing a request... it's his first time his father pay at least one minute attention to him
Before no matter what sunghoon do, his father won't really talk to him. Actually sunghoon would always ask his father how he is but since his father won't answer no matter what he stopped asking.
"Sunghoon, my business partner wants to know you. He wants to be your business partner and i'm allowing you." sunghoon is really really happy right now, he's so overwhelmed that he wants to cry so bad... finally his parents not sleeping on him
"But make sure to ace your exam for the upcoming finals, he told me if you aced the exam there's no need for the proposals or what.. the buildings will merge immediately. So please do ace it." he's so happy, his thoughts are full of 'they finally need me! i'm not invisible anymore!' he nods and his father pat his back
He feels like crying... after all... after everything it's finally here.
Their exams will start now, sunghoon is well prepared and ready, he's sure he would ace it not until he saw sunoo crying while reading books... he feels like everything shattered especially seeing your love ones crying
He immediately went to him and ask him but sunoo just shake his head and starts walking leaving sunghoon behind.
Sunghoon was about to follow sunoo but he saw a crumpled paper on the floor so he immediately pick it and read it
'Sunooya! my dongsaeng! ace the exam i know you can do it! brother loves you so much, brother will comeback if you ace it! i love you my dongsaeng, ace it for us Your brother, Inhyeop."
And there. Sunghoon has finally connected the dots.
Sunoo's being like this because he has someone to bring back, he needs someone to comeback, his brother.
Sunghoon immediately throw the letter and went back to his seat.
'How can a family member that manipulative!?' sunghoon thinks, he's mad, so mad that he want to shout and ask sunoo's brother why is he doing this...
but the question is after sunghoon knowing it... would he still ace the exam?
