*Camilo*

Four Years and Nine Months After the Wedding

Six Months Since Previous Chapter

Camilo's and Y/N's ages: 25 and 24 years old

The music was so loud I could feel it through my whole body, and I loved it. It obliterated any thoughts, any tightness in my chest, pulsing through me. I was surrounded by people speaking a language I couldn't understand as they jumped and danced around me, jostling me as I grinned, looking around. Diego was pushing his way towards me through the crowd, his head bouncing to the beat, holding two drinks high up so they wouldn't get spilled, before he reached me, handing me one. I threw it back, feeling the burn in my throat, but loving the warm feeling afterwards, the further haze coating my mind. He downed his and then continued dancing, finding a girl close to him and pulling her in. She grinned and allowed it, letting him grab her tightly by the waist, turning around and putting her hand on his neck, moving to the music against him.

I felt hands slither around my waist from behind and I turned around to see a girl I didn't recognize, clearly trying to pull me into a dance. I shook my head, laughing, waving her off with one hand - it was too loud to try to tell her I didn't want to dance with her, and I found this motion usually worked. She smirked at me, rolling her eyes and then leaving me alone. I grinned, casting my eyes before I finally found her - Y/N was on her way back, jumping to the music as she made her way towards me, grinning when she spotted me through the crowd. She looked so different in the clothes they wore here - today, jeans and a tye-dye tank top, her hair up in a clip. She looked so hot I could stare at her all day, still not used to her wearing clothes that showed off every curve of her body.

She reached me and saw the empty glass in my head. 'Where's mine?' she mouthed to me, smirking and pointing at herself, knowing it was too loud to try and actually talk. I grinned sheepishly, finding Diego and making eye contact, holding up my glass and shaking it at him, indicating I wanted another one. He rolled his eyes, but he grinned, letting go of the girl and disappearing into the crowd again.

Y/N pulled me towards her by my belt, beginning to dance with me. I took her hands and let the beat dictate how I moved, grinning, loving watching her. She turned around to dance up against me, her back to my chest. My hands held her waist, loving how she was moving. I moved one of my hands up to her throat and she turned her head as far as she could, leaning it back to allow me to kiss her. I could taste the alcohol on her lips from the drinks she had already had, the sweat shone on her skin from dancing for hours.

Diego reappeared, punching me in the arm to get my attention. I pulled back from Y/N, smirking at him, as he handed Y/N the drink she wanted and she threw it back, handing the glass back to him, signing 'thank you' to him. He laughed, downing another one that he had also brought for himself, and disappeared again, likely looking for the girl he had abandoned. Y/N turned around and kissed me again and I grinned before leaning into it, moving her to the music without breaking her lips from mine. She pulled back and spun around as the beat picked up faster, laughing as she took my hands again. I could watch her dance for hours.

The lights here flashed and moved around, throwing her in and out of visibility. I remembered the first time Damian had brought us to a place like this, how overwhelming it had been for all of us. There were no places like this in Encanto, no music like this. I couldn't even remember the name of the country we were in. It was a massive city, like nothing I could have imagined in my life growing up where I did. People lived here in the millions in towering buildings that made the apartment Diego lived in, that I used to think was pretty tall, look like a shack. Cars lined the streets instead of horses, and there was no forest, no mountains to be seen, but the lights at night were enough to take your breath away, stretching out as far as you could see.
