Kim Jisoo, known as "The Perfect Prince" in an all girls school for being...well, perfect! On the other hand there's Park Chaeyoung, the complete opposite of Jisoo. What will happen when their worlds collide?
- Free Period, Jisoo P.O.V., At the school garden -
I think of how earlier Chaeyoung politely declined my invitation to hang out with my friend group at this garden and left with her friends.
Maybe she felt uncomfortable? Or maybe she didn't want to ditch her friends?
"Are you still thinking of her?" Jeongyeon asks, getting me back to reality and causing everyone to look up at me
"I just-"
"She didn't decline because of you, she just didn't want to leave her friends" Irene says
"Yeah, don't worry" Solar says
"I knowwww, but is it weird if I miss her?" I ask and Lisa bursts out laughing
"Aish Jisoo. You have a lot to learn" Seulgi says
"Like what?" I ask, confused
"Have you ever loved someone?" Jennie asks me
"Yeah, my parents, my sibli-"
"No Jisoo. I mean love in a romantic way" Jendeukie says
"No?" I say, but it comes out more like a question
"That makes sense" Byul says and takes a bite out of a sandwich
"What makes sense?" I ask, confused
"You'll figure it out soon" Jeongyeon says
"Ughh" I groan, annoyed
"Anyways, how's it going with your song?" Irene asks me and The Royalties
"Not well. Jisoo hasn't finished the lyrics and without them we can't get a feel of the song" Lisa says
"Not my fault I have no inspiration!" I defend myself
"Why didn't you make the song first and then write the lyrics?" Jennie asks us and takes a sip of her drink
"Because when we write the lyrics first, we know what type of vibe the song is supposed to give" Byul says making me and the rest of The Royalties nod
"The competition is in a month, right?" Solar asks
"Less than a month" Jeongyeon says
"Oh, good luck" Irene says
- - - - Chaeyoung P.O.V., At the cafeteria -
"Sorry for separating you from The Perfect Prince" Nayeon says with an apologetic smile
"No, it's okay. I wanted to be with you two" I say and they smile
"What do you think of the school so far?" SinB asks
"It's amazing, the teachers are nice and fun, most students are chill and friendly. I can't wait until my electives!" I say and they laugh
"What are your electives?" Nayeon asks
"Vocal, art, dance" I say
"Ooh! So you're talented" Nayeon says
"I wouldn't say that" I say, a bit shy
"Not everyone can get into dance and vocal class" SinB says
"Really?" I ask, shocked
"There's only a few students in there, and most are popular" Nayeon says, nodding her head and taking a bite of her food
"Do you know how many?" I ask
"Let's see. In my class, bear, sexy no-jam, Solar, Wendy, Wheein, Hwasa, Jihyo, and me" Nayeon says
"You're in vocal too?" I ask Nayeon
"Eum(mhm), SinB is in dance" Nayeon says
"2nd period dance" SinB says
"Oh, I have 9th period dance" I say disappointed
"What about vocals?" Nayeon says
"7th" I say and she cheers
"Yes! She's with me!" Nayeon says and sticks her tongue out at SinB
SinB just rolls her eyes and I laugh at them
"Sooo, you have something for Jeongyeon, don't you?" I ask Nayeon and she immediately blushes
"Oh no" SinB says
"KYAHH! SHE'S SO FUCKING SEXY! THE WAY SHE DANCES! RAWR!!!! I NEED HER TO CHOKE ME" Nayeon yells, catching everyone's attention
I embarrassedly apologize to everyone with a bow
"One of these days no-jam will be behind you while you say that" SinB says and eats
"I hope that never happens" Nayeon says
"It will, with the way you keep saying stuff like that" SinB says and I laugh
"Okay, but who's caught your attention Chaeyoung?" Nayeon asks me
"Me?" I ask because I didn't expect her to ask me that
"Yeah, you. You can't just come to an all girls school and expect to not be gay" Nayeon says
"Well, there are some really attractive girls here and there"
"Really? Where?" I hear a familiar husky voice behind me, ask
I turn around and I'm met by Jisoo's captivating eyes and contagious smile.

She's just so perfect, it's unreal. I guess this is why they call her the Perfect Prince
"Jisoo!" I smile joyfully and hug her
She chuckles and hugs me back, making me feel things in my stomach and heart. Some girls looks at me with an envious glare and others look like they are staring at an adorable puppy or kitten. I feel a hand on my head, and soon I realize that Jisoo is petting my head. My heart skips a beat and I swear I can feel myself blushing when everyone around us cheers.
"THEY LOOK SO MUCH LIKE A COUPLE!!!!"
"I WANT WHAT THEY HAVE!!!"
"THEY'RE SO ADORABLE TOGETHER!!!"
"You guys are the school's most famous couple" I hear Lisa joking next to Jisoo, causing The Royalties, The Royalties' Ladies, and my friends laugh
"We're not a couple" I say
Tell me why it hurt saying that, it's just a normal statement.

"We're not a couple" Chaeyoung says and I feel pain in my heart like if someone just poked me hard in the chest.
Why did I suddenly feel like that when she said we're not a couple?
