Chapter 13

Someone comes in, making Chaeyoung and I quickly pull apart.

"Oh did I interrupt something?" SinB smirks

"No, not at all. What are you doing here, SinB?" Chaeyoung asks SinB, her cheeks flushed red in embarrassment

Her voice is calm but her face says it all

I smile at my own thoughts and SinB teases me

"Why are you smiling like that Jisoo?" She teases with a smirk

"Aniyo, it's just that Chaeng looks like a tomato" I say and pinch Chaeng's cheeks making her whine and making SinB laugh

"I just came to see how you were doing but I see you got company so I'll just leave you two alone" SinB says and winks at Chaeyoung before leaving

Chaeng clears her throat and we look everywhere, but at each other.

"I should probably go now" she says and stands up.

Nooo, please don't go

"Yeah, I should also go" I say and stand up

"Mmmm, thanks for the smoothie" she thanks me with a smile, but there's something about it that doesn't seem real

"Yeah, no problem" I say

We walk to the door and open it, then we go out to the front of the school and we see The Royalties there.

Chaeyoung P.O.V.

"Hey, lovebirds" Lisa says as she sees us walking towards them, a playful smirk on her face

When she says the word "lovebirds", I immediately remember what happened in the vocal room. I blush at the thought of Jisoo and I almost kissing.

What was I thinking?!

"Oooh~ Someone is blushing" Lisa teases me, making Jisoo turn to look at me.

I hide my face and it makes everyone laugh, except Jisoo.

"Stop laughing at her, guys." Jisoo tells them

"Aww, Jisoo is defending her girlfriend" Jeongyeon teases, making me blush even more

"I said stop." Jisoo says in a cold voice, shutting "The Royalties" and their girls up.

"Don't hide your face Chaeng. It's okay" Jisoo tells me, slowly taking off my hands from my face

"Sorry" Moonbyul apologizes

"I-it's okay" I stutter

"Jisoo, we gotta go write that song" Seulgi tells Jisoo

"Alright, you guys can go first. I'll be there in a few" Jisoo says

The Royalties bid goodbye to their partners before going inside and then "The Royalties' Ladies" leave.

"Sorry about them. They're such goofballs" Jisoo apologizes on their behalf

"Oh, no. Don't worry about it. I know what you mean. Especially with Lisa and Jeongyeon" I say

"Talking about Jeongyeon...you guys seem really close these days...what's going on between you two?" She asks with a high-pitched voice.

"Jeongyeon and I?" I ask, confused on why she's asking

"Y-yeah...you keep blushing in class when you talk to her...are you two...like..uh.."

I raise an eyebrow, encouraging her to continue.

"Are you guys d-dating?" She asks in a squeaky voice

I laugh and she embarrassedly looks away.

"I-I'm just gonna go inside" Jisoo says and starts walking away, but I grab her hand before she can walk any further.

She glances at our hands and then looks at me.

"No, we're not dating." I answer her

"O-oh" she says

"Why?" I ask her

"I...I was just w-wondering" she says with a nervous smile

A car comes and I see my brother Chanyeol in the driver's seat.

"I've got to go now" I tell Jisoo

"O-okay. See you tomorrow" she says and I let her hand go before walking to my brother's car.

Jisoo P.O.V.

Chaeyoung leaves and I walk inside the school.

Damn it! I've never stuttered that much in my life before. Why was I so nervous to just ask her if she was dating Jeongyeon?

I put my hand up to my chest and I feel my heart beating faster than usual.

Was I that afraid of hearing her answer? But why? It's not like it matters anyway...right?

I shake the thoughts off my mind and walk to the band room. When I open the door, I see "The Royalties" tuning and practicing their instruments.

"Oh, you're here!" Seulgi calls out and I nod.

I walk to the chair where I placed my belongings earlier and take out the piece of notebook paper where I wrote the lyrics down. The girls look at me with curiosity as I write down some more lyrics.

"Hmm, what about this?" I ask them and they all huddle up around me

"It needs a little twisting" Lisa says

"What if you repeat the last line?" Jeongyeon suggests

"Ehhh, it's okay.." Seulgi shrugs

"What if..." I start but never finish my thought because I rewrite the lyrics
