Jisoo P.O.V. - Next Day, Last Class
"Ahhhhhhh, it's finally Friday!" Lisa says with a huge smile
"Wooooooo!" Moonbyul cheers
"Yeah, but focus. We're still at school and we have a song to write before the festival's music competition in two weeks" I tell them
"Aghh you're so boring" Jeongyeon complains
"Since things are going well with Nayeon, how about you help me write some lyrics?" I ask her.
"Fine" she sighs
"And don't think the rest of y'all are off the hook. We're all staying after school until 5 to work on this new song" I command them
"Yes ma'am" Seulgi jokingly says
Jeongyeon and I go over what we have.
"Okay so we have the chorus, we just need to build up to it" Jeongyeon says
"Someone give me a tune leading up to the chorus or something" I tell them
Moonbyul gets her guitar and start experimenting things. Lisa listens attentively for a second and starts to play the drums along to Moonbyul's tune. Jeongyeon gets up and immediately joins them. They repeat the same sound, and soon Seulgi joins in.
I don't have the most talented best friends in the world for nothing. Now work brain and get something done.

School Garden, 3PM
"That's amazing baby!" Jennie hugs Lisa
"This is probably going to be one of the fastest songs you guys have written" Solar tells us
"Well it's all thanks to Jisoo and her crush" Jeongyeon says
"So basically just thanks to my crush" I laugh
"Thank you Chae-" Lisa starts but gets interrupted
"Jeongyeon!" Nayeon yells out and comes running to us.
Chaeyoung and SinB follow her. My heart skips a beat, realizing that Chaeyoung is near me.
"Hi Nayeon" Jeongyeon says
"Ouuuu, not going to call her 'babe' already?" Moonbyul asks, teasing Jeong.
"Shut up Byul"
"Seriously! You're going to let Jisoo beat you at that?" Seulgi adds
"What? What are you talking about?" I ask, pretending to be clueless because Chaeyoung is here.
"You and Chaeyoung" Seulgi answers, not understanding my signals for her to stay silent.
Irene notices me and hits Seulgi's arm. I force a laugh, trying to pretends like Seulgi didn't say anything.
"Yeah Jeong! Jisoo has been calling Chaeyoung 'baby' since day 1!" Byul speaks up
I take back what I said earlier. Why are these dimwits my best friends?
"Haha! I do that to everyone" I reply without thinking
"You do?" Chaeyoung asks this time.
Everyone stays silent. I turn to look at her and watch how the glow in her eyes slowly fades.
