So turns out we both broke our hands. Funny how we did that at the same time. Whatever, I hope it hurt him. He's an asshole and I'm tired of him thinking he can do this to people.

He fucking kissed me. He kissed me. Then didn't talk, look, or even acknowledge me for a full week. That fucking asshole can kiss my ass. And yeah, I've gotten laid many times this week so we all know this is my true anger and not pent up, horny rage.

"Are you not going to school today?" Mom asks.

I spin around to look at her. "I just don't feel good today. With my hand broken and stuff, and don't even get me started on Tyler."

"I liked Tyler. He seemed nice."

"He's not. He's a fucking asshole."

She rolls her eyes and rests her head on my doorway. "Are you gonna go tomorrow? Because you know you can't keep running from him."

"I know, I just wanna take a break from seeing him every day."

"Okay. Well I have to go to work, so you get the house to yourself today. We're low on groceries so if you could go buy some today for me, I'd greatly appreciate that." She says.

I smile and nod. "Yeah, I can do that."

"I left money on the counter with a list of what we need."

"Alright, I'll get around to it."

"A'right, thanks love." She says, starting to turn and walk away.

I mumble a 'yeah' then spin back around to my computer. I wanted to do nothing today other then wallow in my own self pity and now I have to fucking go shopping. Ugh.

"Bye, love you!" She yells walking out the door, leaving before I can say anything back.

She's mad at me because I got into another fight. I told her I'd stop, I've been at this school for two months and have gotten into four fights already. So yeah, she has a reason to be upset but whatever, a dudes gotta fight.

Dall and Bren have been throwing parties nonstop and I just can't keep up with them and they're acting like children about it; saying I never hang out with them anymore and shit. It's stupid.

Life is stupid and I hate it.

---

I'm at the store looking all over for some God damn baked beans but I can't find them anywhere. I hate this fucking store.

I push the cart out of the isle and start walking, suddenly crashing my cart into another one.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." I apologize to the women.

"No it's okay, I was distracted-"

"Josh?"

My attention is diverted from the blonde woman to the brunette boy next to her. I roll my eyes and lean against my cart.

"Hey Ty." I say.

"You two know each other?" The woman asks.

"Yeah, he brought me home a few weeks ago." Tyler says.

"Oh, you're Laura's kid! It's so nice to finally meet you!" She smiles, holding out her hand.

I take it in mine and lightly shake it. "It's nice to meet you too, she always talks about you and what's his name, David?"

"Oh, Dale! He's super funny." She corrects me.

"Yes, Dale! She always says how you two are her favorite people she works with." I smile.

"Awe, she's amazing. Oh my gosh, we all should totally have a dinner together!" She gasps.

"What? No, that's not necessary!" Tyler says.

"Oh don't be ridiculous Tyler! It'll be at our house, you and Laura and your father can come!"

I fight back the smile. "Oh, actually my father isn't really present. He um, he isn't in the picture anymore."

"Oh." She frowns. "I'm sorry to hear that, Joshua. Well my point still stands! I'll talk to your mom about more when I see her tomorrow." She smiles, nodding.

"Okay, I'm sure she'd love that." I say.

I see Tyler roll his eyes and shifts his weight on his feet. "Okay, well we should get back to shopping." She says. "It was great to finally meet you!"

"Yeah, you too!"

"Alright, you have a good rest of your day, Joshua." She smiles.

"You too." I return the smile. "See you at school tomorrow Tyler."

He mumbles something before waving his hand at me and walking away with his mom.
