I Was Always There

Today was the first day of the moon competition practice and I walk down to meet Ming outside my dorm.  I walk outside and notice a figure standing next to Ming. He has a grumpy look on his face while Ming is teasing him by calling him "cute" and "Kitty is cute".  

Kit looked like he was about to talk back when he noticed me. He smiled at me and that's when Ming looked at me. Ming waved and started getting into his car. I sat in the front seat and Kit got into the back.   " P'Kit what are you doing here?" I ask. I see him open up his mouth before I hear Ming start answering.  

"I asked Kit if he wanted to carpool to the moons competition but he kept denying me. He finally agreed after I mentioned that I was picking you up". 

I Look through the mirror and notice a tiny bit of red on the tips of his ears as he keeps staring out the window.  He looks forward and says "I wanted to support my favorite nong."

I smiled a little at that while ming pouts and says "Why am I not your favorite Nong?" he asks. 

Kit looks at them and loudly says "Stop annoying me every turn then". 

Ming pouts some more while I just laugh. a few minutes later we arrive at the university.  We enter the room and I see Pha immediately talking to the moon of the medical faculty.  I just continue staring at him until I notice that he is looking over here. He has a smile and starts waving. I immediately almost start waving back until I notice Kit start walking towards him from behind me. "Of course, he is waving to his friend not you" I mumble. I quickly walk over to Ming as we start sitting down.  

After hearing how the competition is going to go and learning some of the dance moves lunch break finally comes. I grab my lunch and sit next to Ming when I notice Forth last year's engineering moon sit down with us.  He gives me a pink drink and I stare at him wide-eyed. Ming has a look of confusion on his face when he sees the pink drink. "Ummm Forth.. why did you give me this?" I stutter while my mind keeps jumbling up my thoughts. 

He gives me a small smirk and says "I'm the one who has been giving them to you the whole time" he says then gives me a small wink. 

My mouth completely drops and Ming stares at us with wide eyes when all of a sudden Forth starts laughing. He keeps laughing while throwing his head back. "Hahaha you should see your guy's face," he says. " I was just asked to deliver the drink". 

My face still full of shock registered what he just said. I then moved forward "Then you know who it is?" I say while grabbing his shoulders.  He blinks at me and then smiles. "That my nong is a secret" then he got up and walked away. 

 Ming and I just stare at each other wondering what just happened but then he looks at me like something just registered in his brain. "Yo, it means that he is here at the competition," Ming shouts. 

I just stare at him and immediately started looking around. My eyes immediately land on Pha who was talking to Kit and Beam. My mind starts imagining that Pha asked Forth to deliver the drink and a smile slowly crept to my face. 

For the rest of lunch,  Ming and I  just joked around while not realizing that there were a couple of gazes on us. One glaring and one with an unreadable expression.
