I don't remember much from the actual contest, so bear with me.  I also hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, and thank you to everyone who is putting up with my erratic schedule. I didn't expect people to actually read this, and I appreciate it.

Also, I will most likely edit the book once I have finished.

The contest so far was running smoothly.  We did our dance, answered questions, and went through each department.  We are currently in the talent portion, and the whole audience went wild for Mings Muy Thai. I have to admit he looked really cool. I felt a tap on my shoulder and was told I was up next. I nodded and mentally tried to prepare myself for what might happen after this. No matter the outcome, I know I'm doing the right thing.

I heard the announcer call my name and walked onto the stage. I heard the faerie gang yelling my name as I sat down at the piano. "Walk in your rainbow paradise," I sang and could feel all eyes on me. I continued to play and scanned the audience until I saw him. I made sure to lock my eyes with him as he stared at me, mesmerized. I saw a massive smile on his face, and I smiled back. As soon as I finished, the audience was silent, and then I heard an eruption of clapping and yelling. While staring at him, I took the mike and said, "I sang this song for someone incredibly special to me, and this is my way of telling them how much I love them." The crowd erupted even more, and I smiled widely but noticed his eyes were facing the ground this time. "I hope you understand," I thought to myself.

We got through the rest of the acts, and now it was time to receive roses from people. People come up and give a rose to their favorite contestants. I  said thank you and graciously accepted the flowers, but felt sad I didn't receive one from him. I looked around but didn't see my person anywhere. I saw a hand push something in my face and realized it was a massive bouquet of roses. I looked at the person attached to the hand, and it was Beam. "Here, fifty roses from your secret admirer," he said and walked away.

I was shocked and looked around but saw no one looking at me. I looked at them again and read the note. "You were amazing tonight. I may not show myself to you, but I will let you know that I'm always there for you".

I kept reading the note over and over again, and I smirked. "So it was you all along, huh" I whispered. "I love you too."

As the officials counted our roses, it was time to announce the winner. I almost cried joyfully when I learned I won the fan favorite. I walked back to my place as they declared the winner. "And the new moon is Ming from the engineering department," Phana yelled.

I clapped loudly when I heard that. "Go, Ming, I yelled." The audience went crazy, and I even heard a few "marry me, Ming," and I laughed. I saw Phana whisper something in his ear as he accepted the crown and stash, and I swear I saw his cheeks turn red a little bit. But it quickly faded, and he started talking about his gratitude for all of this. As the new star is announced, we all clap, and she accepts her crown and stash.  We all start walking off stage, and the officials tell us how we all did great and that we still need to live up to our reputation for each department.  We all nodded and could see everyone visibly relaxed now that the contest was over.

I grab my stuff quickly as there is someone I need to go and catch. As I was out the door, Ming looked like he wanted to talk to me, but I just walked past him and sprinted down the hallway. I went to where everyone was waiting for the other participants, and that's when I saw him. He looked like he was debating on leaving, but I would not allow that. I ran up to him, grabbed his cheeks, and kissed him.
