I Was Always There

Hey, Sorry I haven't been as active this week. It's my birthday week, I have been at the beach, applying for jobs, celebrating, etc... Overall it's been busy. I know I don't have a set schedule for posting but I felt way less active this week.

After I napped for an hour Ming, Kit, and I were invited to join Forth and the gang for drinks. I was about to accept the invitation but Kit gave me a look. 

"Yo are you sure going out would be the smart thing to do?" He said giving me a stern look. 

I looked back at him and was about to argue but his gaze stared at me like "I dare you to argue".  So I decided to keep my mouth shut. 

"Fine, I will just stay and rest". I pouted 

Ming giggled and told me he will see me later and walked out the door. 

Kit looked at me and said, "Do you need someone here with you?" 

I glared at him and told him "I'm not a little kid that needs constant supervision". 

He shook his head and then said "okay" and walked out the door. 

I stared at the door for some reason feeling pressure in my heart seeing him actually leave. I ignored it and pulled out my One Piece Volume and started reading. 

While I was finishing up the last of the volume I heard the door open. I looked up and there stood Kit with a bag from the convenience store. 

"I thought you went drinking with them?" I asked. 

He walked over to my bed and sat down right next to me.

 "Here I got you some food and medicine in case," he said. 

I looked down at the bag and smiled. I then gave him a hug. 

"Thank you so much for taking care of me phi," I said. 

I started looking through the bag and if I bothered to look up I would have seen a tomato-faced Kit. 

We spent the rest of the night just watching videos and talking. I didn't know I could have this much fun just relaxing with someone besides Ming. 

I went in to grab the Pockey and felt my hand go on top of someone else's. I looked up and found saw that Kit went in for the Pockey at the same time. We just stared at each other and I could feel myself slowly leaning in.  

BAM the door burst open and comes in Ming. "I hate that Phana! He thinks he's so great and treats me like a five-year-old. I swear I will win that title and show him!" he comes in yelling. 

He goes straight into the bathroom ignoring us and slams the door shut.  We had both unconsciously leaned away from each other. We both look at each other again and I could feel my face go red. 
"So want to continue watching the video?" Kit asked. 

"Yea let's do that phi". 

We were like that for another hour until we both decided it was time to sleep.
