"Will you stop whining? I did not hit you that hard!" AJ lectured Miguel as he leaned up against one of the poles panting.
"You punched me in my throat!" Miguel stared at her in shock.
AJ shrugged, "I need to work on my aim then."
"AJ!" Miguel gaped at her lack of concern.
AJ sighed and walked over to him pulling his hand away from his throat, "It's only a little red. It will go away soon."
Miguel pulled his hand away from hers to sit down on one of the platforms.
"Finished already?" AJ questioned leaning up against the same platform as him.
Miguel ignored her and looked to the side.
AJ clicked her tongue in annoyance "I'm sorry for punching you in the throat. But now you know what it feels like if it happens in a tournament."
Miguel continued to ignore her by facing away. What she couldn't see was the small smile hidden on his face.
"Diaz, seriously, silent treatment?" AJ raised an eyebrow stepping towards him which was not a smart move.
Miguel jumped down from the platform and put the girl in a choke hold, holding her tightly against his chest.
"No, I'm not finished." Miguel spoke with a small smirk, "Now who's the better champion?"
AJ fought the urge to smile at his move, it was smart she would give him that but not smart enough.
She elbowed the other boy in the stomach giving her enough leeway to move away from his chest, her back still facing him. AJ kept a hand on his arm forcing it away from her neck. She placed one hand on his wrist and the other one on his bicep before leaning down quickly and rested on one knee. The momentum was enough to throw Miguel over her shoulder and onto the floor.
AJ stepped on his chest with her foot keeping the other on the ground the other on the ground, "I'm the better champion." she smiled smugly at him.
Miguel didn't say anything except for a punch to the back of her knee that kept her up right.
AJ, who didn't have good balance in the position, fell backwards a little close enough to Miguel that he was able to grab her waist and force her down into a sitting, position. He then pushed her one foot off of him and stood up.
"I'm the better champion." He said forcing her to lie down by using his foot to keep her in place like she did to him.
AJ tried to kick him with one of her legs which he easily blocked and then caught.
"Don't cheat." Miguel told her with a small laugh.
"Fine." AJ responded, "Now help me up?"
Miguel dropped her leg and got off of her. He held out his hands to her which she took and helped her into a standing position.
"You have a footprint on you." Miguel told her pointing at the dusty shoe mark on her shirt.
"So do you asshole." She pointed at his before sitting down on a platform rubbing the back of her knee, "Nice trick by the way, little kinky with the waist grabbing but hey I saw that rope tying skill. Sam must be a lucky girl."
Miguel rolled his eyes at her, "The jokes never stop with you do they?"
AJ shook her head, "It's all a part of my don't let them break down your walls act." she slightly joked.
"Is this the time our group therapy comes into play?" Miguel asked sitting down next to her.
"I don't know." AJ said slowly shutting down.
