Inextricable//A Cobra Kai Story

Chapter 10

The following day after the drive-in all anyone could talk about was the prank that was pulled on Cobra Kai.

"Henceforth, Miguel Diaz shall be known as The Rainmaker." Demetri made an exaggerated motion of rain falling with his two hands.

AJ stared at him with a questioning look on her face but decided not to comment, for once.

"El Diablo de la Lluvia!" Eli said this time earning a comment from his always outspoken girlfriend.

AJ faced him with an equal look of confusion, "Who keeps teaching you Spanish?"

Eli just shrugged and made a small little 'I don't know"sound.

Sam just huffed and crossed her arms tighter across her chest, "If they hadn't fallen for it, we would've beaten them."

AJ glanced over at her a little concerned, "Damn LaRusso just take the small win." she smiled a little to try and not sound as harsh.

"Maybe." Miguel agreed with Sam before she could say anything to AJ, "But it still could have gone bad."

"What could've gone bad?" Johnny asked concerned as he appeared in front of them.

"We were about to get in a gnarly fight at the drive-in" Eli said with a grin, "But Miguel saved the day." he smiled and looked over at his friend.

"Gnarly?" AJ mouthed as she gave Eli a side glance after he spoke, "Seriously who is teaching you all of this?"

Johnny looked impressed at Eli's statement and looked over at his first ever student, "Oh yeah? How'd you do that?"

"Told the Cobra Kai's to come to the baseball diamond," Miguel began to explain, "Just in time for the grass to be watered."

Johnny's look of pride slowly faded as he started to figure out what fully happened at the baseball field, "So you picked a fight, you didn't show up, and then you doused them with a hose?"

"Keep in mind they have a habit of dousing us in stuff." AJ spoke up coming to Miguels defense despite it not helping the situation at all.

What they didn't know was that she agreed with Johnny. They should have kept their word with the fight and of course win.

"And actually it was sprinklers." Demetri corrected making AJ shake her head at him and Johnny to glare in his direction, "I'll go back to saying nothing."

"That's when I like you the most!" AJ quipped trying to defuse the situation only to get an annoyed look from the tall brunet.

"You just poked the bear." Johnny lectured exasperated with all of them, "What do you think is going to happen? They're just gonna leave well enough alone?"

"From everything I heard, it sounds to me like Miguel practiced restraint." Daniel stepped up poking the bear of Eagle Fang, "Found a way to get out of a bad situation without anyone getting hurt."

It was almost like a tennis match watching them. The tension was higher than ever and AJ was wondering who and when someone was going to throw the first punch.

"What did you want him to do, get in a drive-in switchblade fight?" Daniel retorted with a half smile, "I'm proud of you. You've taken Miyagi-Do teachings to heart." he put a hand on Miguel's shoulder making Johnny look beyond pissed.

"Okay LaRusso, we need to have a talk." Johnny stepped up to Daniel annoyed.

But before either of them could do something two men walked into the dojo, one of them taking majority of Eagle Fang by surprise and the other one confusing everyone but Daniel.
