"Ooh. All right. Lets get this Audrey chick taken care of already" Uma says and some of us laugh "What do you say girls? Time to wrap things up?"
"You know, someday, you're gonna have to tell me how you guys all got teamed up" Ben smiles
"Actually" Evie smiles
"Mal promised to let all the kids off the isle, once this is over" I smile and finish Evie's sentence
"Mal?" Ben asks
"I have to tell you guys something" Mal says suddenly. We all stop walking and look at her "Um..." she sighs "I lied to you..." We all give her a confused look and she carries on "The kids won't be coming off the isle.."
"What do you mean?" I ask, suddenly being taken over by sadness
"The program is shut down" She tells us "And the barrier... will be closed for good"
"For Auradons safety.." Ben adds
"Hold up.." Uma cuts in "So we're saving your precious people... AND your behinds for a lie..?" She sighs "I knew it was a mistake to trust you. You're always out for yourself"
"And YOU, King Ben, ay?" Harry says, walking towards Ben "You're probably just gonna throw us all back inside" I sigh and look down
"You know what? I actually thought you were brave" Celia sighs "You're nothing but a chicken" She cries "Too scared to tell me I was never gonna see my dad again"
"Celia.." Mal whispers "Celia.." Celia grabs the ember and starts walking away with it "Celia, no!" Mal shouts as she drops the ember in a bird bath. Sparks fly off of it and smoke follows shortly after
"Celia!" Evie calls
"No! No!" Mal groans. She grabs the ember and shakes the water off "Regain your light and ignite! No..." She sighs as the spell doesn't work "Regain your might and ignite!" She says louder. She looks at Uma for help. Uma looks at her necklace and then at Mal
"Bummer" She says, seeing that it isn't glowing "Lets go find Gil and leave them all to rot" She says to Harry
"No.." Mal whispers "Uma!" Evie takes my hand and steps forward, bringing me with her. Mal turns to look at us and sighs "Evie... Y/N... I'm so sorry... I'm sorry, I just... I thought that... I was afraid to tell you. I thought I was gonna lose my best friends. But I had to do something. I had to protect Auradon!"
"Closing the barrier.. was your idea..?" Evie asks, sadly
"I did it for us! I did it for our life that we have here now!"
"For our life?!"
"Mal.. what about those kids that we left behind on that island!" I add "The kids WE promised! We were their only hope!"
"I thought you were gonna stand up for the VK's..." Evie sighs
"But instead you lied to them!" I cut in "And you lied to Jay! And you lied to Carlos! And you
Lied to Evie! And you lied to me!" I say, tears pricking my eyes
"I thought we were your family!" Evie cries
"You don't lie to your family.." I whisper "I used to say 'You can't trust a villain'. What a joke. Well guess what...We aren't villains anymore, Mal! We are part of Auradon now. We have to trust each other! We trusted you! You can't just lie to us!"
"Girls..." Mal cries. I shake my head and walk over to Carlos. "Girls, come on! I had no choice!" She shouts. Carlos and I both knelt down beside dude and we were about to hug when suddenly everything turned black

**Time skip- A couple hours**
Suddenly, my vision comes back again and I fall into Carlos's arms. I gasp and look at him
"What the heck just happened?" I whisper.
"I don't know.." He whispers back. I laugh and he grabs my waist, pulling me down to him. I was now lying right on top of him
"I don't know what happened either but... it feels like I haven't seen you in ages" I sigh. He smiles and pulls me into a kiss
"I love you, Y/N"
"I love you too, Carlos" I smile. He gets up and then helps me up
"Come on. Lets go" Ben says, acting like we weren't just obviously turned to stone.
"You good?" Evie asks Carlos. He nods and smiles
"Yeah" He replies
"You alright?" Jay asks me
"I think so. Are you?" He nods so I smile. We all carry on following Ben until we get back to the castle "Gosh... what happened here?"
"Guys!" Mal shouts
"Mal..." I whisper. Evie and I run up to her and hug her
"What happened?" Evie asks
"It's Audrey..." We all look at each other and then follow Mal to Audrey's dorm. When we walk in, we see Audrey laying on her bed, in a deep slumber. Mal and Evie sit either side of the bed and I sit at the end whilst Uma stands behind me, Ben paces back and forth, Harry and Carlos sit on chairs, Jay leans against a wall and Celia sits on the window chair.
"She's slipping away..." Evie sighs. Mal drops her head before looking back at Audrey
"Mal..." I whisper, knowing exactly what she's thinking
"What's she thinking?" Uma asks
"There's only one person.. in the world who might be able to do something about this... And that's Hades" Mal explains
"Hades? He wouldn't do it" Ben scoffs "And I wouldn't risk it"
"Actually.. he might do it for Mal" I tell him
"He's my father.." Bens eyes widen and he looks around in shock. Carlos and Jay share a shocked look and then look back at us
"Okay..." Ben sighs "Well, I'll have to send guards to get him" Carlos and Jay walk up to us. Jay stands beside Ben and Carlos stands behind me, putting his hands on my shoulders.
"Maybe I can hitch a ride.." Uma shrugs and we all look at her "The isle is my home. Someone needs to be there to protect it"
"Well, then, youll need your first mate" Harry smiles, walking up behind her
"The isle will be in very good hands" I smile and she returns it
"Can I go, too?" Celia asks, making us all turn to her "I wish I could be in both places..." She sighs and looks down. Mal stands up and looks at us
"I really think that Evie was right... And.. I do think that we would've been friends... all 3 of us..." Mal sighs, taking my hand too
"I agree" I smile sadly
"And I'm really sorry that I lied to all of you guys. You deserved so much better than that" She sighs
"You we're just trying to do the right thing" Jay nods
"Yeah" Uma and I smile. Evie stands up and looks at Mal
"I get it.." She says, causing Mal to smile.
"Right! I don't know about anyone else but I'm tired!" I smile "Big day tomorrow... Imma go get my beauty rest" Carlos takes my hand and looks at the others
"I'm gonna take her home. I'll see you guys Tomorrow" He smiles. They all nod and return the smiles. Carlos and I walk out of the dorm and the castle, hand in hand. We get in our car and drive to our house. I yawn and Carlos picks me up
"I can walk" I laugh
"I know. But this is much more fun" He kisses my head and carries me to our room. He puts me down and I grab some pjs. I get dressed into them and climb into bed with Carlos
"What?" I ask with a laugh, noticing he was looking at me
"Nothing. You are just so beautiful" He whispers. I smile and lean up to kiss him. He leans down and our lips connect. We pull away and fall to sleep in each other's arms
