Carlos and I woke up the next morning to our alarm going off. I jump up and smile
"Carlos!" I shout, waking him up. His eyes flutter open and I lean down. Our lips connect and he smiles into it. I pull away and he looks at me
"What was that for?" He asks
"Nothing" I shrug "I just felt like kissing you. Do you have a problem with that?"
"No problem at all" We both smile at each other and then get out of bed. I had a shower and got dressed

I walk out and Carlos stares at me
"What?" I laugh
"First of all, you look absolutely gorgeous! Second of all, you're wearing something other than red and black" He smiles
"I know. Evie made it and I loved it with or without my usual colours" I shrug and smile back "Now go and get ready!" I laugh
"Yes, ma'am!" He salutes and then runs off into the bathroom to get ready. Whilst he is in there, I do my hair

Once I was done, I had to wait about 5 minutes for Carlos to get out of the bathroom. However, the wait was worth it

I walk up to him and put my hand through his hair
"I love it" I smile
"And I love you" He returns the smile and kisses the ring on my finger. I wrap my arms around him and hug him "As much as I love this... we need to go" He sighs. I nod and he takes my hand, walking me out of the house. He opens the passenger door for me and once I'm in, he closes it. He then walks around the car and gets in the drivers seat beside me. He drives to the castle and parks the car. We then walk to where the engagement party was being held and bump into Evie and Jay
"There you guys are!" Evie squeals, hugging me
"What took you so long?" Jay smirks. I slap his arm and laugh
"We slept in by accident" I reply
"There they are" Evie smiles, looking at the arch. We all follow her gaze and see Mal and Ben walking through. Everyone cheers as they wave at us all "Hi" Evie smiles at Mal. They greet everyone and then walk up to the balcony. I look at Carlos and see him with a big smile on his face. I smile to myself and rest my head on his shoulder as we continue clapping. We all stop clapping as Ben begins speaking. Carlos goes behind me and hugs me from behind, holding me tightly
"Lady Mal and I wanna thank you for celebrating our engagement with us today. I couldn't be prouder or happier to call you my Queen" He says to her and she smiles "So!" He raises his glass with a smile "Raise your glasses" Everyone raises their glasses "To our future Queen of Auradon!"
"To our Queen of Auradon!" Everyone says in unison
"Speech, your Special-ness" Carlos shouts to Mal. I laugh and look at him. He smiles down at me so I give him a kiss on the cheek and look back at up at them
"Speech, Your fancy one!" Jay also shouts
"Ah, yes! Speech, your Dragoness" I smile and everyone laughs. Mal laughs too but then she sighs. Evie and I shared a worried look and Carlos tightens his grip on me.
"I can't" Mal suddenly says and everyone gasps. I look at Carlos with a concerned expression "I can't be Queen of Auradon"
"Mal..." Ben whispers to her
"I can't turn my back on the isle..." She whispers back. Carlos looks at me and takes my hands "We made a decision... to close the barrier for good! and it was my idea!" She sighs "But it's wrong. I've learned... that you can't live in fear... because it doesn't actually protect you from anything!" she laughs and holds back tears "You never know where the bad is gonna come from. And you never know where the heroes are gonna come from either! Without Uma and her pirates, Auradon would be gone! And without Hades... my father..." Everyone gasps. She looks at Me and I nod at her with a smile "Audrey would be gone... We are all capable of good and bad! No matter which side of the barrier we come from! And that's why I can't be Queen of just Auradon!" She tells Ben "I have to be Queen of the isle, too! And it's time that we take the barrier down forever..."
"We can't do that.." Beast says
"It's up to us, Dad" Ben smiles "I choose to be a king who moves forward. It's time for forgiveness. It's time for new beginnings. The barrier will come down!"
"Yes!" I cheer
"WOOOO!" Carlos shouts, picking me up and spinning me around. Everyone laughs and he puts me down, kissing me. I pull away and laugh
"Bring it down, Mal" Ben tells her. Carlos starts clapping and soon after, everyone is clapping. Jay takes Evie's hand and they run up the balcony. Carlos follows and pulls me with him, gently. We all stand by Mals side as FG passes her the wand. We walk up to the railing and look over at the Isle. Carlos takes my hand and squeezes it with a smile
"To make the world a better place..." Mal starts
"We have to do it face to face" We all finish together. Mal flicks the wand and we watch as as the barrier vanishes to a gold dust. A real bridge forms and we all laugh and cheer
"Gosh, I love you" Carlos sighs, looking at me
"I love you too" I smile. He puts his arm around me and we all stand close together.
