Douxie stayed with Irene, helping clean up, all afternoon.

Jordan had stayed for the most part, helping get rid of the scorch stains and rebuilding what had gone down. Sometime in the afternoon, he had left to go pick up Aiden and simply didn't return.

So Douxie suggested, once they finished, that they go out to get dinner.

Irene agreed at first but seemed a bit hesitant once she'd seen herself in a mirror.

"I... Look like a trainwreck-" she cracked up into laughter while rubbing some cinders off of her face.

Douxie smirked, turned on the sink, and flicked water at her.

"Hey!" Irene chuckled and flicked some back at him.

This rapidly progressed to a soak-the-whole-bathroom waterbending fight.

Luckily, they were both wearing dark, dull, or lightly colored clothes colors, like the punk freaks they are, so drying out the clothes was about the only issue there.

Another issue was that they almost couldn't bring themselves to stop, the room was filled with chaotic laughter and random magic water attacks.

"Alright, you look clean now," Douxie told Irene, laughing breathlessly.

"Yes- and a little damp," Irene wheezed.

Douxie grabbed a towel, tossed it over her head, and began rubbing her hair down.

"Heh, nice view, I guess," Irene mumbled and giggled as she stood awkwardly, subconsciously being glad her hair was short enough that the towel over her head wouldn't be a problem.

Douxie laughed and pulled the towel up so she could see before hugging her.

"I think I definitely have some holes in my memory," he murmured after a moment.

"Did you remember something?" Irene asked a bit excitedly, pulling back a little.

"No, but... I missed this," Douxie said. "I definitely missed this- and if I missed you then I have to have known you before."

Irene furrowed her eyebrows up a bit with a bashful smile, "I don't know how to describe how much I've missed this..." She looked down at her hand as it found its way back to the drawstring on his jacket, "If I'm being honest, things have seemed pretty dull for the past year until I saw you again at that cafe... I don't know how I missed that you were right there the whole time, heh. I'd hope it was the spell, I guess." She stopped her rambling as Douxie messed with the towel over her hair again.

Her hair seemed dry enough and Douxie took the towel off of her head completely. Irene laughed, looking back up at him for a moment," It's not bad, is it?"

"Hey, it's better than mine," Douxie told her with a small laugh, shoving some wet hair out of his face.

Irene smirked, getting a towel to help dry out his hair as he had for her, a lot more carefully as she tried to focus on reaching the top of his head.

He bent over a little for her with a quiet "heheh".

"Shuddup, tree," Irene mumbled quietly with a blushing smile,"... I just realized we ditched your brother and Zoe."

"They'll survive..." Douxie mumbled softly with a growing smile.

"Fair enough..." Irene mumbled back with a smirk, moving her second hand down to his shoulder.

A couple of seconds later, shoved the towel over his face and cackled as she backed away.

Douxie set the towel aside with a chuckle. "Shall we go, milady?"
