"Sooo, what do you like to do?" Nick knew that letting the blonde tug along was a horrid idea, but something wouldn't let him say no. "I like video games and cats... uh and weed.. skipping class? Does that count?" Nick finished his sentence as the taller wheeze a unique sound to nicks ears, a small smile tugged at his lips but he pushed it away. "You sound like a great role model." And there goes his happy mood. "I'm an amazing role model, I don't smoke around children dude!" Clay gave a smile and rolled his eyes mockingly.

The low breeze ruffled their hair like a mother would, the blanket under them keeping them warm from the soft cold grass. It was an idle moment that Nick hadn't intended someone to join him in on, not even luke joined him. He does this often and he really isn't sure why the blonde got into this safe space with him so easily, he didn't even realize until they arrived at the spot and he subconsciously put the blanket down.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" It was a quiet question, unlike clays usual self, Nick thought nothing of it and answered truthfully. "Yeah I have bitches."

The blonde stared at him before Nick bursted out laughing, letting his giggles be suppressed by his hands. "Ahahah! I-I'm kidding!" Clay rolled his eyes and smiled, watched as the raven calmed down from his laughter fit. "Do you have a girlfriend?..." Nick asked in return, Clay hasn't realized Nick had calmed down and flinched, He shook his head with a smile before asking another question. "Are you gay or transgender?" Nick looked at the taller shocked, not because he was but rather because it was stated so bluntly.

Clay giggled loudly at the face of shock on him as he tried to excuse and defend himself, "bruh okay no wait!" Nick started to smile himself but quickly shook his head as clay stopped laughing, "anyways, I was shocked because it was so said so bluntly, but I don't know to be honest..." Nick shrugged at the question, Clay tilted his head slightly like a lost puppy in the rain. "You don't know?"

Nick glared at the taller, "no I was just saying that because I was bored." Clay scoffed at the low sarcastic response, "I haven't really ever been in a relationship or even felt love at all." Clay raised an eyebrow, now this was interesting. "Well how about we find out!" Clay stated with a smile, Nick gave him a confused look as he continued with his plan. "I'll kiss you!" Nick stared at him with a dead shocked face as if he just saw a corpse. "Ew no." Clay frowned, it would've been funny!

"That's weird." Nick Scooted away with a glare, this caused a small wheeze to leave the blonde. "I was joking, but it would've at least been funny." Nick sighed and scooted closer again. "It wouldn't have been dude." Clay shrugged with a smile before standing up and looking around, it was a very pretty place. "How did you find this place?..." Nick looked up at the tall blonde with a different expression then he had ever seen.

It took a while for the answer but finally Nick spoke, it was hushed and quick as if he was ashamed. "I was uhm, running away from school and in a breakdown. I couldn't really breath but I remember tripping right there and getting up, before I could continue to sob I realized the environment of this place and everything felt better.." Clay looked away from the scenario of trees and grass and back to the raven he had so desperately tried to get to know that drunken night.

"Do you and your friends hang out here?" Clay wasn't sure why he kept pressing for answers, something longed in him to get to know Nick better. "Nope, I don't let my friends come here, they don't even know this place." Nick said. "Then why did you bring me here? Wanna be friends or something?~" Nick stood up and dusted off his jeans, he looked up and smiled, "we will always be strangers clay." That hurt, but clay knew this meant something, knew that somewhere deep down, Nick spoke to him that night for a reason, whether he knows why or how.. it means something.

" strangers don't lead each other to random places, unless you want to kill me." Clay grinned as he spoke, Nick chuckled and started walking away as he spoke, "maybe I will." Clay shrugged with a smile and walked along side the shorter, "you would be a pretty killer." Nick raised an eyebrow and gazed at those green eyes, he swore a sparkle was in them. "Was that a compliment or a flirt?" Clay chuckled and looked away, a light pink barely visible, "whichever will get you to like me more." Nick scoffed with an eye roll and started running, giggling as he heard the shouts of the blonde trying to catch up.

He stopped running when he got to the front of the school, panting slightly as he checked the time. Just as he read it the blonde stopped near him and tried to catch his breath. "How, do, you run, so fast." The blonde took a large breath between each word, his voice cracking in lack of air. Nick looked over his shoulder with a prideful smirk, "I did track for years. Aren't you a little football boy?~" Clay rolled his eyes with a lack of smile this time, standing up straight. Nick chuckled and walked inside, the blonde quickly returning to his side. "How many classes have we skipped?" Nick thought for a moment as he walked over to his locker, turning the lock on it before and answering.

"The bell is gonna ring in three minutes and then it'll be eighth (there, I fixed it you little shits) period." Clay nodded in understanding and thought in the silence for a moment, something about Nick made him want to act all weird.. he wasn't sure of that.. was he gay?..

Clay wasn't scared of being gay, his masculinity was stronger then he himself, he was scared of Nick. Of what Nick could make him do, make him feel, make him know. But he wanted to do, he wanted to feel, he wanted to know, he wanted Nick to show him. It was an internal battle that he knew would only get worse. Clay took a deep breath as he found his answer, "see you tomorrow?" Nick shut his locker and turned around in surprise, he now had a backpack over his shoulder. "Sure?... that would be nice." The blonde bent down a tad with a smirk, "bye pretty boy." Nick fumbled with his hands before rolling his eyes and pushing Clay down the hall.

"Later blondie!"
