I woke up in a very unusual way, my head was resting against Calum's chest as I hear him breathe in and out softly. I'm not gonna lie, the position that we're in is a bit comfortable to even get up but I did anyway, making sure I won't wake him up since my stomach started making those weird noises whenever you start to get really hungry.

I went downstairs to make some pancakes. I search for the pancake mix in the cabinet, putting it on a bowl and stirring the mix.

I settled two plates on the counter incase Calum wanted some and started eating mine.

"Goodmorning." I heard a familiar voice coming from the door and I turned to look at Calum, one of his hands gripped on the door way as he peeks in.

"I made pancakes." I said, placing his plate on the vacant spot.

"Well someone is being nice today." Calum took a seat on the opposite side of the counter, he started eating his pancakes before looking at me, smiling.

I felt my insides tensing up for a few seconds as I try so hard to keep myself together.

"You know what," he says, before swallowing a huge chunk of pancakes in his mouth. "We can actually work everything out if we stop fighting every single day."

"We had that deal before and we failed, remember?" I can't help but laugh at the thought, we are both really different and I think it's hard to actually make up if the guy you're with is really difficult.

"I'll try my best to not act like a dick, then." he said. "Sure you can handle that?" I say to him, chuckling.

"Excuse you." Calum said in an almost playful manner.

Sometimes I really wish Calum would stay like this, just him being playful and doesn't get mad at things easily but I'm sure that something made him this way. That's how it goes, right?. When people change it means they once felt pain and when they get back up, it's either they learned to treat other people right or they treat other people how they treated them.

"Ashton is coming over." He says, getting up from the counter.

"Just a quick reminder that this is not your house and you can't just invite anyone without my permission." I say jokingly.

It's okay for Ashton to come over, really. I think he's really nice and it's strange to think I became more closer to him more quickly than I am to Calum and it's been two weeks since we started living in the same roof but this is not his house and he can't just do whatever he wants without telling me.

"Just a quick reminder that I don't care."

Ugh.

I closed my eyes for a second to compose myself back. This guy is just so impossible.

"No one is coming in this house, then." I place the bowl on the sink and looked at him, he was just leaning on the counter as he watches me load the dishes.

Calum let out a deep sigh, looking annoyed.

The feeling is mutual, Calum.

"Can Ashton please come over later?" He says, emphasizing the word 'please' and he made his voice sound different.

"That was not even filled with sarcasm, huh?" I let out a laugh, looking back at him and I can notice he was still staring.

"Is that a yes?" He asks, furrowing his eyebrows.

"I don't have much choice." And I still can't stop smiling, I really like it when Calum is in the mood to joke around.

"I know you like the idea of Ashton coming over anyway." He smirks, still leaning on the counter.
