What?
Out of all those numbers why would he choose three?
We both stared at each other for a few seconds and looked away.
I must admit I felt something when we both stared at each other in the eyes. I can't explain it, but it was different. I felt something different.
"Calum and Cheska, truth or dare?" Ivanna asks.
"Dare. Think of something original and not stupid." Calum stated as he sat up.
I'm glad that Ivanna was the one who will give us the dare, I quite like her.
"Fine. I dare you both to lock yourselves up in Carl's storage room." Ivanna proudly commanded and placed her shoulders across each other.
"That's new." Michael smirked.
I don't even know what will happen, we're both mad at each other and I'm not in the mood for fighting, specially with Calum Hood.
"How long are we gonna be there?" I asked.
"An hour." Braxton said as he stood up. "I'm gonna ask Carlisle for the keys." He added as he disappeared in the room.
"Are you being serious?" Calum stared at everyone lifting his hand in the air.
"No one complained with their truths and dares I think it's only fair for them." Leslie patted Calum's shoulders as he stood up.
Calum's expressions annoy me a whole lot. He always has this blank emotion and it just pisses me off.
"Are you gonna be okay?" Finn whispered in my ear.
"I think I'll be fine." I smiled at him.
"You guys ready?" Braxton returned in the room as he moves his finger in circular motion making the keys spin.
We both didn't answer and just stood up. "Have fun." Michael says emphasizing the word 'fun'.
"Shut up." Calum shot back to Michael as he place his hands in his pockets.
"I'll be back after an hour. Don't take stuff seriously, just..enjoy." Braxton states before shutting the door, locking it.
How am I supposed to enjoy in this room filled with dust and boxes. And if it involves Calum Hood, surely it will be no 'fun'.
"What are we gonna do?" Calum asks pacing back and forth while I leaned in on the stack of boxes in the corner.
"Can you stop doing that?" I say in a nicest way as possible.
Luckily he stopped and leaned in on the door.
"Are you still mad?" His voice was softer.
There was no light in this room, only the light of the moon peeking through the window makes Calum's tall body visible.
I didn't answer, I was still mad. But I didn't want him to know.
"Actually, you don't have to answer. I can tell it." He slightly smiled.
"Then why did you bothered asking?" I looked at him, the same feeling I felt towards him earlier.
"Fine. I'm sorry." He lets out a big sigh before saying it.
I stood up and went to the window, sitting at the edge of it.
"I'm referring to my second offense by the way." He added.
"What was your first offense?" I ask, completely confused.
"You know it."
Oh. I get it.
"It's fine." I simply say. Although it's really not. But it's better to say you're fine than explaining why you're not okay.
"Why did you say three anyway?" He asks as he sat down beside me. He was facing on the door, and I was sat beside him facing the wall.
I don't feel like opening up for Calum yet, I still don't know him and I don't know if I can trust him.
"It just came into my head." I lied and brought my fingers up, playing with it.
"No it didn't. I know you're lying." He looked at me and I'm trying my best not to look back, because if I did, our faces would end up being inches away from each other.
"Why do you know everything?"
"I don't. I just know that you're not okay."
The room was in a complete silence after it. I just didn't know what to say.
"How about we make a deal?" He says in a much more cheerier tone.
"What deal?" I looked on the direction where he's looking.
"You will tell me everything if we don't fight for two weeks." He says, smiling.
"Deal." I smiled back at him. I think he wouldn't be that bad. I mean we are here for fifteen minutes now and we're still not fighting. I should give him a chance, I think I'm being way too harsh on him and i'm overreacting. But I still want his apology.
"It's only fair for me to come up with a deal too." I say to him.
"Okay."
"I can't think of anything right now but i'll come up with something."
And another silence.
"You know what, we achieved a milestone for not fighting. We are having a conversation and it went out smooth." He says, laughing in between his words.
I really think he should smile a lot.
"You're right." I looked at him once more, this time taking in his features. There was no denying on the fact that Calum is attractive. He has this big brown eyes and the thing I like most is his lips. It is formed perfectly and I like how he bites on his lower lip momentarily. His hair was neatly away from his face and his mohawk looked good on him specially in this view.
"Oh my god!" I screamed and immediately clung next to Calum.
When I looked at him, he was cracking out laughing which made me smile a little bit.
"I thought you were raised on a farm why are you terrified with creatures that are smaller than you?" He says still haven't stopped laughing.
"It was a farm not a land of rats!" I spat out to him making him laugh even harder, his hand was on his stomach as he tilted his head back.
"Why are you laughing anyway? You knew something about this didn't you?" It was no point talking to him, he was just laughing.
"Of course not! But whoever came up with this is a fucking genius." He finally stopped laughing and I realized how close I was to him, his other hand was behind me as if he was not letting me fall or something because I was barely even seated on the small amount of cement in the window, it was not touching my back though.
I scoffed away from him as I pull on my clothes trying to do something.
I heard a noise from the doorknob and it creaked open revealing Braxton.
"You guys okay?" He asks.
"We're good. Can we go out now? It's kind of hot here." I say to him.
He didn't answer but he left the door open.
I must admit I enjoyed this side of Calum and it felt good that I made him laugh.
Maybe I was wrong about him. He can't be that bad.
