"What are we playing?" I ask him and I look on the TV screen, and I was already sure that it is gonna be a scary one. The text on the screen says 'Outlast' , he presses play as I look at his hands and the way he fiddles with the controller.
"Why are you staring me like that?" He looks at me, then back to the screen.
"I don't like stuff like this." I frowned.
"You're scared?" He looks at me, slightly laughing as he stood up, looking for the switch and turns it off and I couldn't see anything but the light reflecting on the tv screen.
"Really?" I look at him.
"I usually am not, but it's dark and there's a storm outside." I state.
"You're obviously scared. That's good. It's gonna be entertaining." He replied and the game starts.
"What did you say?" I tilted my head, signalling him to repeat what he had just said.
"Nothing."
Why did I even agree on this.
He stretched his arm infront of me with the controller in his hands.
"No." I shook my head and looked at him.
"I'll play the first part and once I get the key I'll hand it to you." He states.
His thumbs lazily rubs off the controller and my eyes travelled all the way up to his face, his jawline was so prominent, his hair was down and his fringe was neatly swept on the side and his mouth was slightly parted.
"Look at the screen, not me." He blurts out, smirking.
I immediately looked away and on the screen, making Calum giggle.
He already found the key, and he was making his way through the door.
"Now you play." He puts the controller infront of me as I took it hesitantly.
"Only if you stop laughing!" I say to him and he immediately shut his mouth playfully. His mouth was shut, but his eyes are still all crinkled.
"Go ahead, noob." He spat out.
"You will not stop calling me that will you?"
I look at him.
"But a deal is a deal anyway, you have to answer all my questions because I agreed to play with you." I say proudly.
"Run!" Calum yells, making me jump.
"Nailed it." I say proudly.
"You just flicked your fucking thumb on that controller and you're already proud of yourself."
I rolled my eyes on his rude remark and carried on playing.
"Oh my god!" I yelled and hid behind Calum.
That's why I hate playing these kind of stuff.
Jump scares.
I scoffed away from him, realizing I was just inches away from him and he was laughing hysterically, the sides of his eyes are crinkled and his hands were on his stomach.
"R..run!" He was still laughing at this point and I was sweating pressing all the buttons uncontrollably.
"You need to calm down." He says while tucking himself back inside the sheets.
"You yell at me minute after minute how can I calm down?" I complained while my eyes were on the screen.
And the same sound when the jump scare thing happened made that noise again.
"Get in that room!" He yells.
"See?!" I yell back, putting my hands in the air.
"Get on that locker!" He points at the tv and his neck veins were starting to became visible.
