[9] No man left behind

       Paige sat at the car for hours, the sun was setting as she heard footsteps nearing her. Paige spun around to see Rick and Michonne, followed by Maggie supporting a beaten and bruised Glenn.

"Maggie!" Paige ran towards her sister pulling her into a hug as Rick started supporting Glenn.

"Paige, I thought you were dead! I am so happy to see you!" Maggie told her sister as tears stream down her face.

"I am right here; I won't ever die on you" Paige told her

"I'm holding you to that" Paige looked away from Maggie and wiped her tears

"No hug for me?" Glenn asked the girl as he barely stood

Paige rushed to the Asian, pulling him into a hug.

"I am so glad you're okay, well kind of" She muttered the last part, earning a small chuckle from him. His chuckle soon turned into a coughing fit, Paige looking at him worried. She gently led him to the car, sitting him in the backseat.

"Where is Daryl and Oscar?" Paige asked as she pulled some medical supplies out

"Daryl was taken and Oscar didn't make it, I'm sorry I know you liked him" Rick said setting his hand on the girl's shoulder

"Go get Daryl, we are not losing anybody else" She demanded of the leader

"We are, you stay here and care for Glenn"

"No! If Maggie is going so, am I!" Glenn told them sternly

"Glenn, you need to stay here. Rick will have her back, but you will put them at more risk" Paige told him

"Be safe, they could be out here looking for us" Rick told the two before leading Michonne and Maggie back to Woodbury

"How did you survive?" Glenn asked the girl as she cleaned his wounds.

"I was stuck in a custodial closet and Daryl found me. I was bleeding out and dehydrated"

"Wow"

"Yeah, I'm pretty amazing" The girl joked with Glenn

"It's the Greene in you, all of you are strong" Glenn told the girl with a small smile adorning his face.

"Thank you, why don't you lay down and rest. I'll wake you if someone comes or they come back"

Glenn nodded his head before curling up in the backseat. Paige stood by the open door and kept an eye on their surroundings, holding her gun in her right hand

Glenn awoke after an hour of resting, he climbed out of the car and stood by Paige.

After another twenty minutes, they heard footsteps approaching them. Paige held her gun in front of her before she heard Rick's voice, "Glenn! Paige!"

"Rick, did you get him?" Paige asked

"Yes" Rick replied before stepping out from the woods

"Oh, thank God" Paige said as she let out a breath

"Now we got a problem here" Rick said as they approached with an unfamiliar man behind him, "I need you to back up"

"What the hell is he doing here? " Glenn asked pointing his gun in the man's face

"Hey, hey, hey! Hey, put it down!" Rick said to Glenn trying to keep him calm

" Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Daryl said defending the man, Paige still didn't know

"Put it down!" Rick said as Glenn started getting angrier, Paige noticed Michonne's angry stature as she stood behind Maggie

"He tried to kill me!" Glenn screamed once again
