The party was hell. I love a good party, but that was too much. What happened tonight went way too far. Luke and Miles fighting—I hated it. It made me hate them both even more.
Those thoughts haunted me as I walked down my driveway.
Wait. The pregnancy test. Oh my god. I completely forgot.
I ran upstairs to my bathroom and opened the drawer.
There it was. Sitting there.
I picked it up, turned it over, and saw the results.
"Oh boy," I muttered.
Oh boy indeed.

MILES' POV
I awoke to see Rebecca lying next to me.
Oh boy. What have I done?
Does Y/n know about this?!
I was panicking.
"Morning, handsome," I heard a sleepy Rebecca mumble.
"Hey," I said.
"Everything alright?" she asked.
"Did we...?" I started.
"We did, indeed. You were quite good—no wonder your ex kept you around," she said.
"She's not—she's not my ex!" I snapped, my voice rising.
"She broke up with you in front of me. It was a break up. She said the words 'we're over' to your face," Rebecca said, so smug it made my blood boil.
She was rubbing it in, deliberately. Now I could see what Y/n had been warning me about. It took sleeping with Rebecca for me to realize—I'm such an idiot.
"Whatever. Where are my pants?" I asked, trying to regain some composure.
"On the floor somewhere," she said, rolling over and facing away from me.
"Right. Well, I'll catch you later," I muttered, hurriedly getting dressed.
"Leaving already?" she asked, smirking.
"Yes. I'm leaving," I said firmly.
"Tell anyone about this and you're dead," I warned, walking out the door.
I ran as fast as I could to Y/n's house. The door was unlocked, so I made my way upstairs. Her bedroom was empty. Where was she?
I heard a drawer open in the bathroom, so I flew the door open. She turned around. She was holding a pregnancy test.
"Y/n..." I whispered, my heart dropping.
"I—I'm pregnant," she said, her voice trembling.
"W-what?" I stammered, my mind racing.
"It—it's positive," she said, looking down at the test in her hands, fear and uncertainty written across her face.
I froze. My legs felt weak. Everything around me went quiet except for the sound of my heartbeat pounding in my ears.
"I... I don't know what to say," I admitted, taking a cautious step toward her.
"You better figure it out fast, Miles. This... this changes everything," she said, her voice shaking.
I swallowed hard, my eyes never leaving hers. "Y/n... we'll figure this out. I promise. I won't let anything happen to you, or... to us."
She looked up at me, tears brimming, but a tiny flicker of hope glimmered in her eyes.
"I trust you," she whispered.
"I'm not gonna mess this up," I said, pulling her into my arms.
For a moment, the chaos of the party, the fights, and everything else faded away. It was just us, holding onto each other, facing this unexpected moment together.
"I love you," she murmured against my chest.
"I love you more," I replied, holding her tighter.
And for the first time since tonight started, I felt like maybe, just maybe, we could get through this. Together.
