Princess Prom

Adora knocks on the door and starts reading an invitation out loud.

"Uh, hey, guys, I got an invite to the All Princess Ball, Winter Wonderland. Do you know what this is?"

I walk over to the door and I open it.

Bow and Glimmer starts yelling,

"Princess Prom! Princess Prom! Princess Prom! We are going to Princess Prom!"

"Okay, you've gone crazy, got it. I'll just come back later."

I grab her arm to stop her from leaving.

"Please don't leave me with these psychos." I plead tiredly.

She looks at my tired eyes and notices I haven't slept all night.

"You okay?"

"Mhm. Yup. Totally. Yes." I reply.

"The ball is a meeting for all the princesses of Etheria." Bow starts explaining.

"And a giant party! Dancing, food, fancy dresses." Glimmer twirls Adora and dips her.

"Dancing?" Adora asks.

"I am so glad that I'm not going." I groan.

"It only happens once a decade. I've been waiting years for this!" Glimmer happily says.

"Uh, I'm only a princess sometimes, so are you sure I should even go?"

"Why do you think I call you Princess in the first place? Of course you have to go."

"Oh yeah. It's all in the invite." Bow unravels a long scroll and Adora picks it up.

"Okay. "Rules for greeting the hostess. Expected curtsy depth? Proper stair descending etiquette"?" she chuckles while reading the scroll.

"The ball has been going on for centuries. There's a lot of really old etiquette stuff you gotta do before you can party." Bow informs her.

Glimmer claps her hands and smiles widely.

"But it's gonna be so fun! And Princess Frosta is hosting it this year in the Kingdom of Snows! Her magic is incredibly powerful. She'd be a huge get for The Rebellion!"

Adora whimpers as she sits down on the couch.

"Don't worry! I'll be with you and so will Bow since he's going as my plus one! And Y/N can go as your plus one." Glimmer winks.

Adora blushes slightly at the idea.

"You want me to go with who?" I ask with my eyes wide.

"Uh actually--" Bow gets cut off

"Together, the four of us can handle anything."

"If you really think I'm going to a party full of princesses and royalty. That's where your wrong." I say.

"About that..." Bow gets cut off yet again.

"It's the best friend squad in action! Right, Bow?"

Bow quickly blurts out,
"I'm going with Perfuma."

"What!?" Glimmer screams.

I grab Adora's arm and whisper,
"Let's get out of here before I get a headache."

She nods and we both sneak out.

Bedroom

We head to our bedroom and I sat down on a pink poofy chair.

Adora dragged a table and a chair to the middle of the room.

"Is this really necessary?" I ask.

"Yes."
