As I'm sleeping peacefully I get this sudden urge to drink water.
My throat is itchy, my tongue is dry and I have this weird, gross taste in my mouth.
I somehow have energy to open my eyes and try to find some water in our room, since I don't want to wake Adora up.
*Fucking hell. Always me innit?*
*Ooh, there's a bottle of water on your nightstand*
*Thanks, Thea*
*Gotta make sure you don't die of dehydration you know*
I roll my eyes at her statement and stretch my arm out to grab the water bottle sitting on our nightstand.
*How long has this been here?*
*No clue*
*Oookay....*
Trying to forget that information, I unscrew the cap and that a good whiff of that nasty ass water. I sit up so I don't spill everything on myself.
"Good god--" I accidentally mutter out loud.
"Well, I can't go back in time, now can I?" I chuckle quietly to myself.
"Okayy. Blondie, if you can hear me, if I die from drinking this water, just know it wasn't suicide. Wait, is it suicide if I willingly drink it? Eh, who cares. It's not like I'll matter to anyone in a hundred years."
I finally shut up and muster up the courage to quench my thirst.
"Here we go..." I whisper some words of encouragement to myself.
I take a good sip from that old bottle that was probably about to start growing moss on it and almost choke.
Nonetheless, I end up drinking another sip.
"Mm. Refreshing."
"Why do I do these things to myself?"
"Go back to sleep. I don't wanna hear you arguing with ghosts." Adora says while being half-asleep. Her quiet and raspy voice does things to me.
"Yes, ma'am." I reply and lay back down so I can fall asleep.
Morning
It's a sunny, peaceful morning in Bright Moon. Inside the Bright Moon Castle's War Room, Adora, Bow, Huntara and I are waiting for Glimmer to arrive.
Adora breaks the awkward silence by asking,
"So, where's Glimmer again? Didn't she call us here?"
Bow, sounding slightly worried, answers,
"Uh, I'm sure she'll be here soon."
"She better. If she's late I'm not going on her stupid "retrieving the ship" mission." I sigh.
Glimmer teleports into the room, right in between Adora and Bow. Both of them scream, surprised by her sudden entrance.
Glimmer excitedly yells,
"You're all here! Good. Just one second."
The queen teleports out of the room again.
"Glimmer..." Adora groans.
Huntara is sitting on a chair and starts smirking,
"Oh, I see. She's really taking this queen stuff seriously."
Adora frowns slightly as Glimmer teleports back in with Mermista at her side drinking soda.
Glimmer wastes no time to start explaining her plan.
