Reunion

Glimmer teleports into our room.

She loudly wakes us up by saying,
"Adora, Y/N, get up."

Adora shouts as she pulls out a knife from under her pillow.

"What did I say about the knife?" I groan as I stir awake.

"What's going on? What is it?"

"It's Bow. He's in trouble."

As we're getting ready, this time, I take my arrows with me.

Just in case.

Whispering Woods

Glimmer starts explaining to us what happened,
"Bow's tracker pad and arrows are gone. He must have left after he shot that note through my window."

I read the note I have in hand out loud,
"The note that says, “I'm fine. Don't follow me.”?"

Glimmer loudly states,
"He's not fine! We have to follow him!"

"If he was, he would've told us he was leaving. And after finding out the signal is about Mara–"

Adora calms her down,
"Okay, okay, Glimmer, just clam down. I agree, okay? So, where does Bow go when he's not at Bright Moon?"

"Uh..." Glimmer lowly says.

Adora and I side-eye her and the blonde asks,
"Seriously? How long have you two been friends, again?"

"Look, Bow really values his privacy."

I chuckle and think to myself,
*Not when he's with me.*

"He's never talked about his past or where he came from. Never." she continues.

"Wow. Bummer." I mumble bluntly under my breath.

"And you know how talkative and open Bow usually is. Something's wrong. What if he's in trouble?"

"He's fine, Sparkles." I say.

A little bit farther into the woods Adora says,

"Bow definitely came this way, judging from the broken twigs, the sap and his incredibly distinct footprints."

We all look down to see his heart shaped sole footprints from his shoes.

"He'd lose hide and seek for sure." I snicker.

"Y/N, this is not the time." Glimmer scolds me.

Glimmer then gasps as she notices Bow's arrows.

"There's no way Bow would ever leave his trick arrows behind. I told you, he's in trouble."

Glimmer telepprts us inside of the building we had spotted a moment ago.

"What is that place?" Adora asks as we're in a building that looks like...

"A library?" Glimmer says in a tone that makes it sound like a question.

Adora turns to me and asks,
"Have you ever heard of a library in the Whispering Woods?"

"Obviously. Where do you think I got all of my knowledge from?"

The door bangs open and we all gasp at the sudden movement.

Bow enters room and sighs.

"Bow, I'm so glad we found you." Glimmer squeals happily.

Adora firmly states,
"We're here to break you out,"

Bow starts hushing her,
"Shhhh"

"or fight your kidnappers. We're not exactly sure what we're – uh..."
