Promise

It's been almost an hour since Adora had left.

Glimmer and her mother were having dinner.

So that left me and Bow to do something to make time go by faster.

"What do you wanna do?" I ask bored.

"No clue. But I am starting to get worried."

"Same here."

"Wanna go exploring the woods?" I suggest.

"I guess... But what if we get lost, or what if-"

"Let's go." I drag him to the window and tie the rope to a secure place.

"We're good to go." I give him a thumbs up.

"You sure this is a good idea?"

"Nope. That's why I'm bringing you with me."

I gesture for him to go first.

"If I don't die today my cause of death will probably be suicide or something." I joke.

"Cut it out." he says with a concerned look on his face.

"Don't worry. I'll end it soon."

"Y/N." Bow says in a warning tone.

"Okay, okay. I'll stop."

We land safely on the grass.

"So. Where to?"

"I detected a strong First One's tech signal."

"Should we go there? Alone? Without backup?"

"I don't know. You tell me."

"Nah, let's gooooo... To the library."

What I said must've shocked him because he had never told anyone about the library and I could tell by his face.

"What?"

"How did you know?" he asked.

"I have my ways." I reply.

"Let's go." I drag him along.

The Library

"Oh, wow. We got here quicker than I can." Bow pointed out how quick I made it to his fathers place.

"Eh, to me this time it was kind of slow."

"Slow?!"

"C'mon! Let's go inside."

We enter the library and I call out to Lance and George.

"Lance! George? You here?"

"Is that who I think it is?" Lance excitedly ran down the stairs and engulfed me into a hug.

"And Bow! Are you visiting us for the weekend?"

"Uh... Yeah! Totally."

"Good, good."

"We came here to relax a bit. Yes, going outside of school is fun and all, but I prefer it here. It's not loud like other places." I say.

"How are your studies?" Lance smiles at us as we sit down on the couch.

"Really well! Art is really fun and history is really interesting. We've been studying alot for the past few weeks, so we figured we'd visit."

"History is... Good. Y/N is helping me wiiiiiith homework..? She's good at tutoring and explaining."
