In The Shadows Of Mystacor

"Good morning, you two." Bow happily wakes us.

"If it was a good morning, I'd have a girlfriend." I snap back at Bow.

Bow turns away from me and starts tapping Glimmer.

"Noooo. It's too early. Five more minutes." Glimmer groans.

"But it's a beautiful morning."

"And I want a beautiful girlfriend." I say annoyed.

I stand up and stretch a bit.

I look to my right and see Adora leaning on a tree.

I walk up her and tap her shoulder, but to my surprise she finches.

"Sorry. It's just me." I apologize and reassure her.

"Oh. Hi, Y/N." she says.

I look into the distance trying to figure out what she's looking at.

I start to get sleepy again so I lean my head on her shoulder and doze off for a moment.

It soon gets interrupted when Glimmer teleports herself and Bow next to us, which startled Adora, making her flinch again.

Adora gasps at the sudden appearance of Bow and Glimmer.

Glimmer apologizes,
"Sorry, too early to teleport."

Adora's gaze is fixed on the forest again.

"What are we looking at?" Bow asks.

"I don't know. I heard a noise in the woods last night. And I thought I saw something."

Glimmer starts mocking her,
"What? Like a bunny? Maybe a butterfly?"

Adora just stares into the distance, ignoring her.

Glimmer puts a hand and on her shoulder, which startles her.

"Adora, did you get any sleep at all?"

"Someone has to stand guard."

"Babe, you just need to relax." I reply to her calmly.

“I know you're on edge because of what happened with Entrapta's infected robots, but it's all over now. You've got to relax. You need a vacation. Which is why we're going to Mystacor." Glimmer says.

Bow gasps excitedly,
"Mystacor? No way."

"Not again. Last time I was there i hated it. It was so boring. You call it 'relaxing', but to me it was just stressful." I position my head back onto the blonde's shoulder to be more comfortable.

"Wait, what's Mystacor?"

"It's a secret floating kingdom that's home to all of Etheria's sorcerers. It's got tranquil gardens, and beautiful beaches and healing springs. And my aunt Castaspella just happens to be the head sorceress there."

"You'll love it Adora. Plus you won't have to worry about evil things in the woods. Mystacor is protected by an invisibility spell, so evil can't find it."

"Believe me. You're going to hate it." I whisper to her.

"It's the safest and most peaceful place in all of Etheria. We'll have you relaxing in no time." Glimmer starts dragging her, which makes me almost fall over.

"You know I've never relaxed in my life, right?" Adora asks.

"Oh, I can tell. You're always alert." I reply chuckling.

"Well, we're here to change that. Just wait."
