Bow talks to Glimmer over a call,
"That's when Adora turned her sword into a giant spear, skewered a bot, and then used the bot to hit more bots."

Adora joins the conversation,
"And then Bow used his slick oil arrow to slip them up, and then right off a cliff. Bam!"

"And I kicked them." Swift Wind proudly states.

Glimmer cheers us on,
"Yes! Get them."

"But we were totally surrounded. And then..." I continue telling the story, but let Bow finish it.

"My new surge device worked perfectly. Took out the rest of the bots in one go.

Swift Wind, again, proudly states,
"And I kicked them."

Glimmer happily cheers us on again,
"Amazing! These bots didn't stand a chance against the Best Friend Squad!"

She gasps before speaking,
"I really wish I could've been there. At least you'll be back soon, right?"

"Uh...Soon. Yeah. There's just one more thing we have to take care of." I try to reassure her.

Adora adds on to the excuse,
"Just some really boring wrap-up stuff."

Swift Wind doesn't get the memo and ruins it by shouting,
"The people love us because we saved Elberon, so they're throwing us a celebratory dinner!!"

Glimmer, uncomfortable, surprised and slightly jealous, says,
"Heh. A dinner? That sounds fun."

"Oh, it's really not a big deal." Adora tries to wave it off as if it's just like putting a marker back into place.

"Yeah, I mean I bet they do this for everyone." the archer tries to calm Glimmer down and reassure her.

"You guys, of course they wanna thank you. You freed a whole town from Horde control. I just..." the queen grunts.

"Well, if you need us, we can totally skip out on this dinner thing." the blonde happily offers.

*Adora, what the fuck*

"No, we cannot skip out on this." I mumble quietly to myself.

"No way. Go enjoy your victory." Glimmer allows us to go.

"Great, because I am famished. Are we going now?" Swift Wind asks.

Adora and I glare at him for his stupidity and not getting the memo.

"You really aren't missing anything. You know, we'll drop by to be polite and then head home." Bow, yet again, tries reassuring her.

"Yep. I'm sure it'll be super boring." the blonde chuckles.

"You've never been a party thrown by the people of Elberon, have you?" I ask.

As we're talking to Glimmer, I open the door and we all shout as confetti and horns blow right as the citizens see us.

"What is it? What's going on?" Glimmer alss, clearly confused.

"Nothing. Super boring." Adora quickly states.

"Gotta go. Wish you were here." the archer adds before ending the call.

We hear children laughing and Swift Wind coos,
"Ooh."

The blonde, still in shock, says,
"It's a party."

"It's a big party." the skilled archer adds onto it.
