"Jungkook, that's not where your shoes go!"
"Taehyung, you can't eat that! It's spicy! Don't give me that look!"
"Who ate all the meat!"
"Listen here. I am NOT your maid. If you all are going to act like you live here, then I expect you to clean up after yourselves! You've eaten all the food I bought TWO days ago and this place is a mess!" Mina huffed out in annoyance at the seven werewolves that were currently all piled on her couch. It'd been a couple weeks since the incident and she'd found them here everyday. At first it was just to be on lookout or for clues but they eventually all started to get along with each other and pretty soon they were having meals with each other and having a good time.
But now they had taken it too far. They got too comfortable and turned her home into a frat boys house. It was disgusting and she was not having it. She hadn't been able to tend to her garden like she wanted to let lone do her normal rounds of walking through the forest without one of them following her or causing trouble.
"I am a patient person and I've been kind enough to let you all do as you please here without question but this is getting out of control. None of you know how to put the toilet seat down let along replace the toilet paper. My showers are covered in hair from I don't even know what part of the body and I've had to call the plumber THREE times in ONE day. ONE DAY. I'm not asking for much guys. Just please respect my home." Mina fumed before letting out a frustrated sigh.
"We're sorry, Mina. You're right. We've been careless and taken advantage of your hospitality when that's not us at all. There's really nothing us we can say except sorry. We'll replace your groceries and clean the house for you and even cook you a nice meal tonight. Out of the seven of us, I'm the best cook." Jin said with a smile as he stood up and gave her a thumbs up.
"Alright. Hoseok and Jungkook, you're with me. We're going to head back into town and go grocery shopping. Yoongi, Jimin and Taehyung. You're on cleaning duty. I want this place spotless from top to bottom by the time I come back. Namjoon. Just uh don't touch anything and keep an eye on Mina. Alright let's go." Jin said as he headed out the front door.
Mina couldn't help but laugh at that. The others didn't like it but since Jin was the oldest, they had to follow his orders. Reluctantly they all got up and went their separate ways to start cleaning her place while Namjoon looked like a lost puppy. Poor baby. He may be the leader of the group but he was also very clumsy and had a tendency to break things.
"Why don't you come help me out in the garden Namjoon? It needs a lot of tending to and I think you'd be perfect at helping me." Mina said to the man, giving him a smile as she nodded her head towards the open door.
"So how exactly did you all decide this is what you wanted to do with your lives? I don't know much about any of you except what you tell me which is fine but it's obvious you're hitmen or something like that." Mina had asked when the two of them were sitting in front of her vegetable garden.
"It's not something we really chose. It's just something we were raised to do. Vampires and werewolves hate each other. Always have since the beginning of time and even though there are those who have put that in the past and are choosing to coexist, there are others that want to kill off the others species. Of course humans don't exactly make things easier for us as well. We're all at war with each other in one way or another and before you say anything, we don't just kill vampires. We kill our kind too as well with humans but vampires are a bigger target. Not without reason though. I guess you could call us hitmen or assassins. Humans, vampires, werewolves. We're all trying to kill each other to be the dominant species but until then, we get rid of the bad people who don't deserve to live. The seven of us were all plucked from our homes at a young age because we all have different potential and qualities that are beneficial to taking down a vampire. So we trained and trained until we could do it in our sleep and became the perfect killing machines but we're not like how we use to be. We've changed a lot and we're trying to forget our past." Namjoon said, letting out a sigh as he watched watched Mina choose what vegetables were ready and weren't.
Mina was shocked and saddened by this. She didn't know how terrible it was out there until now. She knew that the world was messed up in one way or another but she didn't know it was this bad. Her parents kept her sheltered most her life to avoid being exposed to the danger especially since she came from not only money but a very old and powerful bloodline.
"I'm sorry you all had to go through that. It must have been really hard for you all. My parents pretty much kept me sheltered for most my life and even at a young age, I refused to feed off humans. So when I was old enough and told them I was moving away, they were not happy. Especially when I told them that I would continue to drink from blood bags. They said that I was choosing the human lifestyle and would die that way. Whatever that means." She said as she looked over at him, giving him a smile.
"Even though you all almost killed me that night,
I'm really glad we met. I've never looked down on werewolves but I was always told how horrible your kind is and that you can't be trusted but I always knew that was a lie. You're an interesting bunch and I enjoy the company." She said honestly before going back to her vegetables. A comfortable silence had fallen over the two of them as she taught Namjoon how to tend to the garden and by the time they were done, the sun was already setting as the others pulled up to the house."Alright everyone, let's have a feast!"
