Jimin was totally caught off guard when the lights turned on, his eyes widening slightly as he looked over at Mina who was staring at him. When she asked him what he was doing here, his mind went blank. What was he doing here? Oh right. He needed to apologize.
"Um sorry for coming in through your window but all the doors were locked and coincidentally so were all the windows so I'm sure they set this up." He said awkwardly as he just stood there, rubbing the back of his neck.
Mina couldn't help but laugh at that. After everything that happened today, she was laughing and at such an awkward time. I guess that was one way to get him to apologize to her.
"I'm really not surprised. I wouldn't put it past them. Um you can take a seat wherever you're comfortable with or you can just stand." She said just as awkwardly as he took a seat at the edge of her bed.
A heavy and awkward silence settled over the two of them as they just sat there. Mina really wanted to say something to Jimin about the hurtful things he said to her earlier but she couldn't bring herself to say anything to him.
"I'm sorry. What I said to you earlier was totally uncalled for. You've done a lot for us and I took that for granted. I just..." Jimin said before letting out a heavy sigh as he shook his head. He wasn't one for admitting when he was wrong let alone apologizing but he knew he had to do this or Namjoon would kill him.
"Jimin. It's okay. I forgive you. You have your reasons for the way you reacted to the whole situation and I respect that. I mean it definitely hurt my feelings when you said you would kill me but I can't hold that against you because I don't know what you went through to despise vampires so much and you don't have to tell me either but that can't be your excuse every time something bad happens. Whatever happened to you, you need to face it instead of running from it." Mina said softly.
Jimin was at a loss for words at this point. He really didn't expect Mina to forgive him so easily but then again he really didn't know her like how the others did. His wolf didn't like the comments she made but his human side knew she was right. He needed to face his issues but not right now. He still needed more time.
"Thank you Mina. I really appreciate that. But um. I'll let you get back to sleep. It's late and I feel like it's just gonna get even more awkward between us then it already is." Jimin said honestly, rubbing the back of his neck nervously as he stood up. "Night." He said before quickly exiting her room. Mina just laughed at that before turning her light off and going back to sleep.
In the morning, things were definitely better but there was still an air of uncomfortableness between the members. Yes Jimin had apologized to Mina, but he hadn't apologized to his pack members yet as he didn't know where to start. So all eight of them sitting around the table eating breakfast in silence right now was definitely something they didn't need.
"Okay this awkwardness is killing me! I can't stand it! Jimin, did you apologize to Mina yesterday like Namjoon said?" Taehyung said out of nowhere, putting the male on blast as he froze mid bite, eyes wide.
"I-uh yeah. Y-yeah I apologized to her last night." Jimin sputtered out as he set his fork back down on his plate before clearing his throat. "Not that any of you made it easier for me. I literally had to crawl through her bedroom window in the middle of the night like some creep because all the doors and windows were locked. Except hers." Jimin deadpanned.
"What are you talking about? We didn't do- Taehyung, Jungkook! What the hell?! That's so inappropriate! What if she had been in the middle of changing or had just gotten out of the shower?! Apologize right this instant!" Hoseok said as he shook his finger at them.
Mina's face was bright red at this point. The attention that had just shifted to her was too much and she just wanted to crawl under the table and disappear. Hoseok meant well, she knew that but the looks on their faces were clear as day as they pictured those scenarios happening to them.
"Okay. Well this was lovely but I'm just going to go ahead and disappear now since every single one of you are picturing me naked and I don't know how to process any of this." Mina said as she stood up from the table and quickly exited the room before heading outside.
"Way to go Hoseok. You just ruined everything. Why'd you have to say that?" Taehyung said as he let out a sigh.
"Me?! What did I do? I just said you two needed to apologize for being inappropriate little shits." Hoseok huffed out in annoyance.
"Yeah but you also mentioned her changing or getting out of the shower and let's face it. We're all guys and Mina is extremely attractive. You put it in our heads." Yoongi said as he shrugged his shoulders.
This caused everyone to start speaking over one another, all the guys slightly panicking over this revelation except for Jimin who had managed to sneak away from the chaos as he followed after Mina. Hoseok was a nice guy but sometimes he just didn't think properly which was usually Taehyung and Jungkook's area.
"Hey sorry about all of that. Are you okay? Hoseok means well but sometimes he can be an airhead." Jimin said as he took a seat next to Mina on the swing, gauging her reaction closely.
"Yeah I'm fine. That was all just a bit much and I know he meant well but it was just an awkward situation overall. I'm not use to those type of comments so I really didn't know how to react so instead I chose to flee to avoid anymore awkwardness that would stir them up even more." Mina said honestly as she stared up at the sky, enjoying how beautiful of a day it was going to be.
Jimin just nodded his head, not knowing what else to say as the two of them just sat there in silence. It was nice and for a moment peaceful. The two of them forgetting everything bad that has happened since they met for just a moment before things would go back to chaos.
"Jimin! Mina! Come on! We're going to the city to enjoy the day! We've all been cooped up in this place for far too long! No offense Mina." Jungkook had shouted out as he approached the two, giving them his best smile as he gave them a thumbs up.
"Yeah come on! Let's go! It's been so long since we last go to enjoy it! Let's have some fun! I'm sure you haven't been to the city in such a long time either Mina!" Taehyung said as he popped up out of nowhere, slinging his arm around Jungkook's shoulder.
Mina didn't know how she felt about that. There were a lot of reasons she avoided the city and chose to live in the forest. Her parents being one of them and the fact that she just didn't like to be around others and crowded places made her nervous. But it was hard to say no when Taehyung and Jungkook were giving her their best puppy dog look. Even Jimin was on board.
"Um yeah. Sure let's go." She squeaked out nervously. This was going to be a very long day for her.
