Attack

Mina was in pain.

A lot of pain.

She had been sleeping peacefully in the car when everything went sideways. The impact had startled her awake and before she could even react, she had been thrown from the car. Her seatbelt had broke and now she was laying in the grass a few feet away from the guys. She couldn't move and she was having a hard time breathing. She didn't know if she was severely injured or not and she couldn't even call out to anyone if she wanted to.

She could hear the guys calling out for her but she could also hear other people moving in from somewhere. Their footsteps were light but not light enough. That's when all hell broke loose. First there was an explosion and then the shooting started. That absolutely terrified her and all she could do was lay there. For how long? She didn't know but she needed to let them know she was alive.

The others had definitely been taken by surprise by the sudden ambush but when they caught the scents of nothing but humans attacking them, it didn't take long until they were taking them down one by one. Taehyung and Yoongi had gotten hit in the rapid fire which the two were able to shake off as it wasn't silver bullets let alone serious while the others had just been grazed. The injuries they had sustained during the wrecks had already healed and with the moon hanging above them, their strength only increased.

"We need to spilt up and find Mina. Jimin, Yoongi, Hoseok. You three search the fields for her and we'll take care of the rest." Namjoon said to them before splitting off in different directions in search of her.

Mina didn't know how long she'd been laying on the ground. She had managed to roll over onto her side before falling onto her stomach as she just laid there. The pain had subsided and she could breathe normally but it was still hard for her to move. She knew nothing was broken and even if there was, it would have healed already and she knew she hadn't been impaled by anything either. It was probably just the shock of the whole situation.

Jimin found Mina rather quickly. His sense of smell having been heightened thanks to her blood still coursing through his veins. He hesitated for a moment when he saw her laying there, not moving and covered in blood but when he heard her heart beating he was by her side in an instant.

"Mina? Mina are you okay?" Jimin said in a panicked tone, not knowing if he should touch her or not. He didn't know if she was seriously injured or not and he didn't want to risk making it worse. When he heard her call his name, he quickly jumped into action, gently turning her onto her back as he checked her for any wounds. He was happy to report that there were none.

"Are you okay? Can you move? Do you need help?" He asked in a softer tone, carefully cradling her in his arms as he looked down at her. She was filthy and covered in blood and her clothes were shredded in certain spots. She looked like shit but he could tell that she was okay.

"I-I'm fine. I think. J-just can't really move yet. I think my body is still in shock from everything." She said softly, looking up at the male as she gave him a weak smile. All she wanted to do was sleep at this point now.

"Okay good. We were all really worried when we didn't see you anywhere near us. It looks like we were ambushed by humans but I don't think it was their idea. Everything was sloppy and they went down a little too easily." Jimin said as he stood up, helping Mina stand with him while keeping an arm around her waist.

"Mina! Jimin!" Hoseok yelled out as him and Yoongi approached the pair, relief washing over their faces at the sight of Mina being okay. They had searched everywhere and saw no sign of life and when they didn't hear anything from Jimin, they quickly followed his scent.

"Oh thank goodness you're okay! We were so worried! Are you okay? Do you need anything? Can you walk? Do we need to carry you?" Hoseok said in a fast voice, asking all these questions at one time until Yoongi elbowed him in the arm to shut up. Mina couldn't help but laugh at that as she shook her head.

"I'm okay. I just really want to sleep right now but is everyone okay? None of you are hurt right? That's a silly question to ask. Of course you're all okay. Where are the others?" Mina asked as she leaned against Jimin for support, happy that none of them had been seriously injured.

"The others are just fine. They're trying to get information out of one of the humans they captured to see who sent them. As much as humans despise us, they're not smart enough to come up with a plan like this. Someone else is definitely behind it." Yoongi said as he sent the others a quick message.

"MINA!!!" Came Jin's loud voice as he ran towards them, his arms wide open in hopes of picking her up and giving her hug but that was quickly rejected when Jimin moved his body in front of her, Yoongi and Hoseok also blocking her from their view.

"Slow it down Jin. Mina isn't in any condition to be hugged or touched right now. She's fine but her body is still going through the shock. We need to get her home before she passes out." Hoseok said to Jin who instantly deflated, looking like an injured dog.

"Too late." Came Jimin's voice from the back, all eyes on the unconscious women in his arms as he picked her up bridal style. "We need to get out of here before anyone else shows up. Taehyung, Jungkook. You two know what to do. We'll meet you back at the house." Jimin said to the two before they spilt off. Mina was safe and that's all that mattered. For now, they needed to figure out who else was after them.
