"You idiot! You had one job and you couldn't even do that right! I set everything up perfectly for you and what did you do?! You hired werewolves! And now they're protecting her and watching over her like she's part of their pack!" Came an angry female voice from over the receiver.

"I'm sorry ma'am. I didn't think it would end up like this. I thought the werewolves would make everything easier and we could pin all the murders on them when it was said and done. I didn't realize how skilled they were until I did a background check on them. They're part of the Black Moon clan, ma'am so things are about to get even more complicated."

Silence.

That's all there was for a good solid minute. The Black Moon Clan was a famously known group of skilled assassins that meant business. It consisted entirely of nothing but werewolves who all showed potential in different styles of combat. The Black Moon Clan had been around for many generations and had taken down thousands of vampire clans for years. They were a threat to the vampire world.

"Very well. Take care of this immediately or else I'll be displaying your head as my new center piece for everyone to see. Do not make me intervene or you'll regret having ever existed." She said before hanging up on him as she let out a sigh. She had set everything up for him and that buffoon of a vampire had ruined everything. All the hard work she had put into taking out that damned girl. She was giving him one more chance and if he failed, she'd step in and correct what should been done in the first place. For now, she'd just sit back and watch.

"Taehyung! Get off of me! You're too heavy!" Mina whined out as she did her best to push the giant brown wolf off of her who wasn't budging in any way. Don't get it wrong. Mina was incredibly strong and fast but when it came to them, she didn't use her strength in fear on sending them flying by accident. So instead, here she was trapped under the massive fluff that was refusing to get off her as she tried to nudge him off. Instead he just licked at her cheek, giving her a knowing smirk.

"Okay. That's enough. Get your fat butt off her you pig." Jungkook said as he picked Taehyung up off Mina and tossed him to the side with a laugh. Taehyung growled at that, snapping his jaw playfully at the male before trotting off to go bother Yoongi who was enjoying his afternoon nap. Which was about to be ruined.

"Thank you. He's been real clingy ever since my parents came around." Mina said once Jungkook had helped her up off the ground, dusting the dirt off of her clothes as she smiled at him. Ever since her parents showed up the other day, everything changed. The guys had become more serious and they never left her side. One of them was always there no matter what. She was flattered that they felt the need to protect her but it was also becoming a little bit annoying. Everywhere she went, one of them was there. She didn't have any space to breathe.

Jungkook understood the meaning behind her words, frowning a little bit at that as he rubbed the back of his neck. He knew they were being overbearing but after almost losing her that night and then her parents not being any help, they just couldn't risk it. Their wolves had accepted Mina as part of their pack and they would do absolutely anything to make sure she was safe and happy.

"N-not that it's a bad thing! It's just- I can't even go to the bathroom without one of you standing outside the door. It's a little bit too much. I appreciate all that you're doing for me but I need to breathe just a little bit, ya know?" Mina said quickly once she sensed his distress, feeling guilty when she saw that frown form on his lips. She didn't like making them upset but she had a point to make.

"Y-yeah you're right. That is a little bit too much. I'll talk to Namjoon and everyone else about backing down some. It's just hard for us at this point. I'm not really supposed to say anything to you because that's Namjoon's job but he'll never get around to it but basically all of our wolves have accepted you into our pack and once that happens, we become super protective and overbearing basically. It's like we imprinted on you but not really because imprinting is a whole other topic that we don't need to get into right now." Jungkook said, rambling at this point as he got off topic.

"And you never do listen, Jungkook. You're just as bad as Taehyung is but I can't be mad at you. She was going to find out sooner or later so I guess it's okay it was you." Namjoon said as he approached the two, flicking Jungkook's forehead before looking over at Mina. "Sorry, Mina. We're wolves and when we find someone we want to protect, we don't think. We just go into protection mode and forget everything else. It's even harder since there's seven of us and we all react differently. I'll try to make sure we all reel it in and give you more space but I can't make any promises." Namjoon said honestly.

"It's okay, Namjoon. Really. I understand. I don't mind but there's just certain things I need my space on without feeling like I'm being watched or babysat. Also, the trinkets are cute too but a little weird as well. Is that a normal thing for werewolves to do? And to leave them on my windowsill?" Mina said as she tilted her head to the side.

"Trinkets? We haven't been leaving any trinkets for you. At least not me and I know Jin and Yoongi wouldn't do anything like that either." Namjoon said, looking over at Jungkook who just shook his head no. Taehyung was a possibility as well as Jimin but Taehyung was more believable out of the two since he was an odd one in general and Hoseok was the definition of love so he wouldn't resort to such things. That didn't set right with Mina as she felt her stomach twist into knots.

"Taehyung, have you or Jimin been leaving trinkets outside Mina's windowsill?" Namjoon said when he approached the male, earning a strange look from him as Taehyung shook his head no. Taehyung knew he was a little odd but that's something he wouldn't do unless he met his mate or was trying to court said mate and Mina wasn't his mate. Jimin didn't seem like that type of person but it was obvious he was feeling some type of way about Mina but was too stubborn to admit it. Now here they were, all seven of them surrounding Jimin as he looked at them weirdly.

"Um what's going on?" He asked hesitantly, tilting his head to the side as he looked at all of them. If he did something wrong, he was completely unaware of it and he knew that he didn't offend anyone today. At least he didn't think he did.

"Have you been leaving trinkets outside of Mina's windowsill? She thought it was one of us since we've been so overprotective lately but I know that's not something we would do but I wanted to make sure and you're the last person to ask." Namjoon said, getting straight to the point as they all waited for an answer.

"Trinkets? What the? No I haven't been doing that at all. How long has this been going on? What kind of trinkets are they? Can you show us, Mina?" Jimin asked as he looked at her, a weird feeling creeping into the back of his head. Mina quickly nodded her head before disappearing upstairs to her room to grab the cloth that held everything in it before heading back down stairs as she laid it down in front of them.

"They're all really pretty so that's why I assumed that it was coming from you all because I don't know anyone else who would be doing this. It started a few days ago so I didn't think much of it." Mina said as she untied the cloth, revealing all the trinkets she'd collected. Trinkets was an understatement. They weren't even close. It was jewels of all kinds. Ruby, emerald, quartz, amethyst and so on. Not something that any werewolf or other species would do. Especially for a vampire. The silence that settled over them was unnerving.

"Mina. Those are jewels. You know that right? And please don't take this the wrong way but that's definitely something we wouldn't do even if it had been us. This is....Well I don't know what this is to be honest. I've never come across this before. Who would be leaving you jewels outside your windowsill and why haven't we sensed them?" Jin said as he just stared at the jewels.

"Could it be him? It has to be him. He's the only one who keeps slipping through our fingers and that we know uses scent blockers. No one else would be that smart especially if they're coming after us and Mina." Hoseok said as he looked at the others. It had to be him because who else could it be? Was there something else that they were missing?

"I really hate that this is happening. This has been my home for so long and now it's all being torn apart. This doesn't even feel like my home anymore. I feel like a stranger in it at this point. I just want this to all be over with already. I can't do this anymore." Mina said in a quiet voice, finally being honest about her feelings as she tried not to cry. The past few months had just been too much for her and she just couldn't take it anymore.

"Well isn't that sweet. Your wish is about to come true princess." Came a voice from behind them. Everything happened so fast that no one had time to react until it was too late. Mina had let out a small gasp before everything went dark as she heard them faintly calling out her name.
