Kinkajou for President!

Here is another part of Kinkajou! (in this story Turtle is actually cute)

Kinkajou's POV

After Mr. Webs class, Qibli and I went back to the Kindle's office to check on Moon. When we came in, Moon was sitting on the cot drinking a cup of water. I gave Kindle a questioning look. "You may." Kindle nodded her head. "MOON!!" I screamed and ran to her, giving her a hug. "Hey, Kink." Moon said. "Can I go to class now?" Moon asked Kindle. "Yep. Be careful, though." "Ok." Moon said, and stood up. 

She started wobbling, and would have fallen if Qibli hadn't caught her. "Hey." He said to her. "Hey." Moon repeated, blushing. Qibli helped her stand, and grabbed her books. We walked to Ms. Coral's class, which were all in. Moon stumbled into a seat, and Qibli handed Moon's books to her. 

Ms. Coral walked to the front and pinned two sheets to the board. Then she turned and faced the class. "We will be electing a grade president. In elementary school, you had a class president. This is like that, except for the whole grade." With every word, I got more and excited. I wanted to be grade president! "You may come up and sign your name on this sheet to sign up. You will have to prepare your speech tonight, and recite it tomorrow. Then, we will vote. The second piece of paper is for Vice Presidents" I ran up to the board, and signed my name. The other people that came up were Ash Emberfield, and her sister Peril. Ash signed for Vice, and Peril signed for the main president.

When everyone sat down, a two girls in the back stood up. Anemone and Trinity. They were the most popular girls in the school, and the most prettiest. "Anemone." I hissed as she walked past. She acted surprised to see me. "Oh my. Sorry, I didn't notice you, dweeb. Like, what are you wearing? Put on something nice for once. Your clothes are, like, hurting my eyes. I have to go sign up for grade president. You might as well erase your name. Me and Trinity are going to, like, win." I tried to leap at her, but Qibli and Moon held me back.

Anemone and Trinity waltzed up to the front, signed their names, and walked back. After class, we headed to the library. I walked through the shelves to find a book. I saw something through the shelves, and slowed down. I saw pink hair, and realized it was Jambu. With someone else? I saw blue hair and realized it was Jambu and Trinity. Their heads were close, like they were whispering. I realized that they were doing something else. Trinity was making out with my brother!

Jambu separated from Trinity, blushing. "I should go." He said. "But baby, please stay!" Trinity walked her fingers up Jambu's neck. "I have to go." Jambu replied. He reluctantly pulled away from Trinity. Trinity made a pouty face at him. "Ok, then, babe. I guess I'll have to find someone else." Trinity walked away, but Jambu ran towards her. He spun her around, and planted his lips on hers. "I'm sorry. Don't go. I love you, baby." He purred. I waited for them to seperate, but Trinity kissed back passionately. They stayed like that for a while, then sank to the ground, still together. Trinity was running her hands through his hair, and Jambu was holding her tightly.

Ugh. Trinity was turning Jambu into someone else! I sighed and turned away. If only I could do that with someone...

The bell rang for lunch, and Qibli, Moon, and I rushed to the cafeteria. We grabbed food, and sat at our table with Winter. Turtle was in the lunch line. I looked over at Trinity's table, and Jambu was there, his arm around Trinity's neck.

In our last class of the day, everyone was in that class. Our math class with Morrowseer was our least favorite class of the day, because Morrowseer was the meanest teacher in the school. We had to do a HUMONGOUS project, due at the end of the month. At least we were doing it with partners! Too bad Morrowseer had to pick.

He read off a sheet at the front of the room. "The groups will be Winter and Ash, Qibli and Moon, Jambu and Trinity, Anemone and Tamiran, Turtle and Kinkajou, Peril and Clay, Glory and Deathbringer, Tsunami and Riptide, Starflight and Fatespeaker, and Sunny and Meercat."
