A/n: We're back to our regular programming/story. ^_^ Also, apologies for being so inactive. This is a busy(and exciting) year for me, so I don't have much time to be on here as usual. For now, at least.
As time continues to go quickly by, Kaname notices his appetite is increasing even more than before. Also, his stomach is expanding forward and on the sides. His mood swings are getting even worse, and the fact that Zero hasn't been truly around for a month now, hurts him so bad. Kaname wishes that he took control of his emotions and not snap at Zero like that. Now, his husband doesn't even want to be in his presence.
Kaname glances at his growing stomach and frowns. Of course, why would Zero want him like this? His eyes then went upwards until it reached his worn out face. "Yikes, my lack of sleep is making me even more ugly...no way he would want me like this...I don't deserve him. Especially after trying to get him to drink that potion..." He was about to cry for the fifth time within an hour, but then an arm wrap itself around him.
"Nobody needs to hear nor see you cry, not like that anyway."
Zero
Kaname turns around in the other's hold and crushes his body closer to his husband, burying his face in the crook of the white haired make's neck. Zero shook his head briefly, sucking his teeth. But nevertheless, he secures his hold on Kaname and kisses the top of his lover's head. "You know that I would never leave you, Kana. Besides, you wouldn't let me truly leave without a fight. I'm here for the long haul, and that's because I love you." Kaname looks at him, square in the eye, "Are you sure that you're telling the truth? Don't just say that only because I am carrying your child. I can take it." Zero sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose in annoyance. "Of course I'm telling the truth...I told you something like this a million times...please believe me, or else I will really blow up. My patience is wearing thin." Why can't this daft pure blood see that he is telling the truth?! It's so annoying.
Maybe he should've agreed to be pregnant instead of Kaname. At least he wasn't insufferable during his pregnancies. Kaname slowly pulls away, feeling shame that he is possibly pushing Zero more away from him. Zero soon realize what has done and takes ahold of Kaname's shoulders, pulling him back in. Zero then leans forward and kisses both of Kaname's cheeks lovingly. "I'm sorry, Kana. Maybe I was being too harsh with you. I love you, okay? So please stop crying. For me?" He slowly moves his hands up and down on his husband's back.
Kaname looks away, still feeling shame and now, even more insecure. But instead of hiding it from Zero, he decides to be honest. "I feel ugly...disgusting even. No wonder you wouldn't want to be in my presence. I'm not as attractive to you anymore. I don't look like I used to." Zero stares at Kaname with a deadpanned look, "Are you serious? You are the most sexiest vampire in the whole damn world! I'm the lucky one to have you by my side. Besides, you seem to not have been taught that pregnancy changes your body in many ways. Sometimes outwardly, like gaining weight and having a bigger shoe sizes, and sometimes inwardly. Like having depression or higher blood pressure for example. You are eating for two, Kana. It's normal to gain weight, besides, it's not like you're eating out of control, you're still responsible with your diet. But anyways, I can see how much my actions influence you and what it makes you feel. I promise to be home more and not just avoid you. It's just...with what you did..." Kaname gently covers Zero's mouth with his hand.
"Shh, I understand and once again, I'm so sorry. I just don't want to lose you, Zero. I love you. But what I did was not the way to go besides, life doesn't always last forever, even for a vampire like myself. We will continue to live life and figure all of this out together, like we always has been." He places his head on Zero's shoulder and closes his eyes, sighing deeply in content and calmness.
Zero smiles and holds Kaname closer.
"Just...hold me, Zero. Never let go."
And he does.
