It was already couple of months of Jinyoung's relationship with Mark. Not gonna lie, as days passed by, Jinyoung's sparks of being with Mark gradually... umm, how to say it.. disappeared? Well.. not sure tho. But if we had to consider these things: him being nervous every time they were about to go out on a date –when Jinyoung had to wait for Mark to pick him up-, him being fluttered whenever Mark told him how gorgeous he was, and some other random acts, made it hard even for Jinyoung to decide if this relationship was worth to be kept or perhaps better to be ended.

He, his heart, and his thoughts all felt hollow. Doubt, which was also a frequent companion, came and went. It made him think that his effort to try loving Mark did not work out. At first, he was sure with this relationship. Now, he was confused. Where did the sparks go? It was not like what he originally wanted. He wanted to live a new life but instead, he was stuck in the past.

Mark was different with Jaebeom. Mark was nice. He was so positive. He was nowhere near Jaebeom in terms of the way he acted around Jinyoung since the very first time they met. He was gentle. He respected Jinyoung and his decisions. He was perfect, they would say. Perhaps, it was Jinyoung who's a fool. Why couldn't he be in love with someone this nice? Why couldn't he try? People would definitely call Jinyoung stupid for not be able to move on from Jaebeom. Their relationship as the heirs to reputable companies was as transparent as glass. All eyes on them. Their marriage, their problems, their divorce were a whole entertainment for both netizens and citizens in South Korea. Imagine going back together with Jaebeom. What kind of chaos would they make this time?

"Jinyoung" a soft voice snapped his reality back to him. "Are you okay?"

"Ah, yes. I'm okay. Sorry, were you talking to me?"

"Haha no I was talking to the air" he joked. "... yeah. I asked you what would you want to eat but I guess you didn't hear that"

"Sorry. I'm so sorry I was-" Jinyoung had to swallow his saliva before he continued. "My mind was- somewhere else" he successfully answered. "So, food? Anything's fine"

"What was it if I may know?"

"No, nothing" Jinyoung answered politely.

"Okay, then let's go to a Korean food house. I think you missed Korea so much right now that you think about it all the time hahaha". Mark was definitely not sure when he said that Jinyoung missed Korea, and by that alone either literally meant that Jinyoung missed the hometown or a certain person who lived there in Korea.

"Sure oh my god how do you know I'm craving Korean food?" Jinyoung excitedly followed Mark's steps.

"I just know" Mark confidently answered as he opened the car door to drive them to a nearby Korean food house.

"Mmmm this is so good. I didn't know there's a Kfood restaurant this good around here" Jinyoung gave his testimony while munching on his beef. He got this big bowl of Galbitang and some fried chicken for later while Mark got a Tangsuyuk and a Kimbab

"You like it?"

"Yeah. This is so good" he looked so content.

Mark was keeping himself together to not show his widest smile while seeing Jinyoung being so cute. He loved it when Jinyoung smile. He loved it when Jinyoung happy. Oh how he want to make this person sitting opposite him to be happy more than anything. He deserved it. There are too many reasons for Mark to keep Jinyoung away from negativity. Even though he knew the whole story about Jinyoung's past marriage life with Jaebeom and how Jinyoung actually said Jaebeom was not that bad of a person made him think of how extremely kind Jinyoung was. He was treated that way but eventually forgave Jaebeom and he was also able to say nice things about his ex-husband.
