Jinyoung was sitting in his office staring at the ceiling, head full of thoughts. One thing he would never expected to always come to his mind was the constant thought of Jaebeom. His ex-husband kept on coming back, visiting his reverie. The thing is... the more he tried to not think about Jaebeom, the more he thought about him.

"I have to forget Jaebeom..right?" he whispered to himself. "and Mark...yeah, I should probably start to make an effort to love him.."

Indeed, Jinyoung gave Mark a chance to try this relationship out. Yes, Jinyoung gave Mark a green light to know him more.. fuck, he even gave him permission to kiss him. However, the problem was even though he knew he liked Mark, even though he knew Mark would provide a new world for his heart to live in, deep down he still wanted Jaebeom. He still had that hope of trying another chapter of life with him or at this situation, at least to see his ex-husband. Just his face. Just that, would suffice.

Does he even remember me?

Do I, perhaps once, appear in his mind when he thinks about something?

How is he doing right now? Is he okay?

Should I really try to have a second chance with him? But what about our parents?

Hell, do we even have a chance to see each other someday in the future...?

Or wait.. Did he see what was circulating online recently and decided to really end this?

These train of thoughts are getting to much.

And to avoid getting way to deep into his thoughts, Jinyoung decided to just take a deep breath and get a cup of coffee downstairs at Starbucks to clear his mind. Oh, and why not meeting Mark for a minute? He told Jinyoung he would have a day shift yesterday, so.. he's there, right?

.

.

Jinyoung pressed the elevator button to the ground floor after he greeted two of his employees. "it's almost break time" Jinyoung said to the girls. "here, buy yourself some drink" he handed them some cash and the girls were so happy to receive it.

"Thank you so much, sir. Have a nice day" one of the girls thanked him before they got off on the 3rd floor.

"No problem. Thank you, you guys too" he waved at them as the elevator door closed. "yeah, she's right. Let's have a nice day, Jinyoung-ah"

.

When the door slid open, he was greeted by some of the employees who were about to go out of the building to find something to eat or drink. Some of them were apparently also headed to Starbucks. It was even busier outside. People who didn't pack their lunch were seen with their colleague chit chatting along the way before having their lunch.

It was so hot when he finally got out of the air conditioned building. Jinyoung had to cover his eyes from the sun and walked with his head hang low. He jogged to find his way to the entrance of the small building.

He almost bumped into someone who were about to get out of the shop if he didn't pay attention to the ground sooner because he couldn't see what's ahead of him. "Oh oops, sorry. Thank you" he thanked the person for opening the door for him without even looking at them.

"Yep, no problem"

Jinyoung stopped his step as soon as he heard the other person's voice.

"......Jaebeom?"

He hurriedly turn his body to see from where he was standing, who was the person he thanked just now for holding the door open for him? His voice sounded really familiar.. He tried to scan among the crowds outside for a particular person with wide ass shoulders, not too tall, not short, any- any body parts that resembled Jaebeom's, any kind of attire that he might know.. but he couldn't find this person.

"oh, probably I was just hallucinating. Why would he be here?" he shrugged and walked to the cashier to order his drink. Remember, he came to this shop to clear his mind.

On the other side of the room, Mark who was just stunned from what had happened in front of his own eyes didn't know what to do or how to react to this. Jinyoung and his ex-husband, Jaebeom was just there. Right there in the same room. Jaebeom even opened the door for Jinyoung but apparently Jaebeom didn't realize who the person that jogged hurriedly in to the room was since Jinyoung was covering his face because of the sun and Jaebeom was busy checking his phone while sipping his drink from the straw.

Mark also did see Jinyoung stopped for a while and turned his body to where the particular moment happened but shrugged right after. Mark was so worried if Jinyoung was able to identify Jaebeom and ran after him, because he lowkey didn't want Jinyoung to get back together with Jaebeom after what he had been through.

But that was...

"I should probably install a door inside the building so I don't have to literally go out to get a coffee-" he stopped mumbling when he saw Mark was just standing there like a statue. "Mark? Hey what are you staring at?" Jinyoung waved his hand in front of Mark's face. He looked like a ghost. He looked pale. "Are you not feeling well?" he asked.

"Huh? Uh, no. Nope. Nothing I was just-" he looked back to the door. "- I thought I saw someone familiar"

"Your friend?"

"No, no actually I don't know him but-" Mark looked at Jinyoung's confused face "nah, forget it. Probably just someone who looked like a person I know but don't worry, it's just a random stranger. Hahaha"

"Sure, whatever" Jinyoung smiled. "Are you free right now?"

"I don't think I am, sir," Mark jokingly answered. "As you can see there are a lot of customers lining up. Why?" he got back to do his job while Jinyoung stood beside the counter.

"Nothing. I'm alone you see and I was wondering if I can get a companion cause I don't like being alone in a crowded café"

"Hahahah how cute. But I have to work"

"Oh, Mark you can go. Leave that to me" a barista just snatched the cup from Mark's hand and made a shoo shoo gesture at him.

"Bam? It's not your shift yet why are you here already?" Mark asked the other person. That person looked exactly like Mark from behind. They looked like twins.

"Eric switched his schedule with me. No big deal" he answered enthusiastically. "Now go. Your boyfriend is here"

Mark laughed and Jinyoung was slightly blushing form the word 'boyfriend'.

Right. He has a boyfriend now. He's in a relationship. However, because of Jaebeom he often forgets that he was in a relationship.

Oh, and he actually couldn't believe that he was really in a relationship, a new one,

a healthy one...

So far.

Or not?

Well,
let's hope so..
