"Mhm."

"Stay exactly where you are." Jack warned Clint, holding the sword to him and Ophelia came around the corner, confused. "Oh, hello again."

"Jack, no!" Kate yelled, coming up beside Ophelia.

"What the hell is going on?" Eleanor asked before spotting Clint. "And why is there an Avenger in my dining room?"

"Hi." Clint greeted.

"Oh, my God. You're... You're Archer." Jack stumbled over his words, lowering the sword.

"Hawkeye." Kate corrected.

"Clint." Clint chimed in.

"It's the branding issue, I'm telling you." Kate whispered.

"I'm starting to think she has a point." Ophelia mumbled.

"Yeah, sure." Clint muttered back to them and Jack chuckled.

-

"Hawkeye, Phelia and I are working on a case and we needed to use the bathroom. He did. So, we were by the house, we dropped in. Now big deal." Kate explained as they all sat at the table, holding mugs of tea.

"Working on a case together?"

"How terrific."

Eleanor and Jack spoke at the same time saying these things and Jack looked down when Eleanor glanced to him.

"They're my partners." Kate smiled.

"We're not partners." Clint denied.

"And I'm not really sure what's happening, if I'm honest." Ophelia spoke up, sipping her drink.

"Well, we're friends-slash-partners." Kate said.

"I wouldn't really describe us as friends. Or you two as friends, either." Clint mused.

Eleanor's phone buzzed, "Someone used my laptop to sign onto my work account ten minutes ago. Any thoughts, Kate? Hawkeye? Ophelia?"

"Oh, you'll never get anything outta them. See, CB-One has trouble opening up and Phelia doesn't really like to talk much." Kate told her mum.

"Nobody calls me CB-One." Clint murmured. "And Ophelia talks a lot."

"I'm just tryin' it out for a second. Plus, she doesn't like to talk to them." Kate gestured to Jack and Eleanor, Ophelia gradually shrinking in her seat. "Probably some early childhood things. He thinks he doesn't tell me much, but he ends up kinda telling me all of it."
