Chapter 3: Introducing Me To His Friends

"Finally, my last class finished! Now I can go back to my dorm and sleep." I thought. As I was walking towards her dorm I saw Samuel talking and laughing with other people. "huh? Who are they?" I wondered. I just guessed that they're his friends and so I continued going towards her dorm until Samuel noticed me and said "Hi Evelyn!!" I heard my name and turned towards him. I saw him smiling and waving wildly at me while the people behind him had confused looks.

"Hi!" I said waving my hand back at him then he went towards me while his friends were behind him following. He then introduced me to them saying "So guys, this is Evelyn, the girl I was talking about." "What? He talked about me?" I thought. "Ohh, so this is Evelyn." "I see, nice to meet you Evelyn." "hm" "Wow Evelyn! You have such beautiful hair!" all four of them said. The people were 3 girls and 1 boy. "oh thank you miss, you have beautiful hair too!" I said. That girl then said "Is that your natural hair color or did you dye it?" "No I didn't dye it, brown hair is my natural color." I said. "hey Evelyn, how old are you?" another girl asked. "Oh I'm 17, what about you guys?" I asked. "We're all 18" the boy said. "Ohh, nice to meet all of you guys." I said. "Hey Evelyn, wanna hang out with the 5 of us later in the mall?" Samuel asked. "Oh, sur-" I said when another girl spoke up "But Samuel! This hangout was supposed to be only the 5 of us! And we just met her!"

"May, don't be rude. She's literally here right in front of us" Samuel said but May didn't care and said "I don't care!" I was surprised and I immediately said "Samuel it's okay, they don't want to and it's fine. I'll just sleep or something." "But-" Samuel said. "Seriously it's fine. Now I'm gonna go back to my dorm, bye." I said while turning around and walking towards my dorm. I then got to my dorm and went in. I put my backpack on the chair, changed my clothes and finally laid down on my bed. I sighed thinking on what happened earlier. "I think they hate me.." I thought. I then fell asleep on the bed and woke up right before dinner time. While I was eating dinner, I got a message from Samuel.

6:18 pm

Samuel:

Hey Evelyn. I'm sorry for what happened earlier.

They're just like that when meeting strangers. But don't worry!

They're actually nice.

Evelyn:

Oh, don't worry. What happened earlier was fine.

Samuel:

Thank you Evelyn.

I then turned off my phone and continued eating dinner sighing.
