Chapter 5: Accidentally Spilled It

An hour after the movie started and it was a horrifying scene where the monster suddenly appeared and jump scared in the screen. Everyone was startled and I accidentally hit Samuel's right arm where he was holding his drink and accidentally spilled it on May. "Oh my God! My sweater is drenched!" May quietly screamed. "I-I'm so sorry May! I didn't mean to spill it. I was just startled by the jump scare!" I hurriedly explained. "Tch! Just give me some tissue." May said angrily. "She obviously spilled it on me on purpose!" May thought. "No no no I can't believe it. I accidentally spilled his drink and now May's sweater is drenched! I have such a bad luck.." I thought while rummaging in her bag. "Guys what happened there? Why are the three of you standing up?" Allen asked. "Uh I accidentally spilled my drink on May. Don't worry it's nothing." Samuel said. After a few minutes of wiping her sweater they sat down and continued to watch the movie silently.

An hour later and the movie finished. Outside the cinema I apologized again. "May I'm so sorry I didn't mean to make Samuel's drink spill on you. I'm so sorry it won't happen again." Evelyn said. "Fine whatever. It's done now and it can't be undone." May said while still being a little angry. "Well anyways the movie was so scary! It definitely deserves a 5 star." Poppy said. "Yeah, and the makeup was so realistic." Jade said. "Well let's all head back to our dorms now." Poppy said then everyone agreed. Samuel and I were outside my dorm. The rest already returned to theirs. "Sam, I'm really so sorry for what happened earlier. I really didn't mean to." I said guiltily. Samuel smiled and said "Don't worry. It's fine, no big deal." "Well I'm gonna go inside now, see you tomorrow." I said. "Bye" Samuel said. Then Samuel left and I went inside my dorm. I sighed then changed my clothes and opened my laptop.

Two days later, on Monday morning. It was free time in my class because the teacher was absent due to personal reasons. I entered the library and went to find a fantasy book to borrow and read. I saw May who was also finding a fantasy book alone. When May saw me she frowned a bit then said "Hi there." "Hi" I said quietly. "Why are you here? Don't you have like class?" May asked. "Oh, it's free time right now. The teacher was absent so I decided to borrow a book. What about you?" I said. "We just had a test and the teacher said once we finished it we can leave the class." May said. "Ohh" I said then she started finding a book to read. After a few seconds May took a book then went to the librarian and left. "I guess she's still mad about yesterday.." I thought.

After a minute I found a book then went to the librarian and also left. I then went to my next class and took a seat. After my classes I went to the canteen to buy an ice cream before going back to my dorm. I saw Samuel, May, Jade, Poppy and Allen there too. Jade saw me and said "Hi" The rest then turned to face where Jade is looking and saw me. "Oh Hi Evelyn!" Poppy said. "Hi guys. What are you doing?" Evelyn said while walking towards them. "Oh well, the five of us wants ice cream but we all forgot to bring our money so we're just about to leave." Allen said. "Oh, well how about I pay for the ice creams. I was also planning to buy one." I said. "No need! The five of us can buy ice cream next time." Samuel said. I smiled then said "No, I insist. Think of it as my payment to what happened yesterday" "Oh alright." May said then I bought ice creams for all of them. The five of them said their thank you and they all ate. After we ate we all went back to their dorms and took a rest.
