We get out of the restaurant after finishing up our meal and another two bottles of wine. More like (Y/N) finished those other two bottles. They're a bit tipsy, it causes them to wobble about. They grab onto me, to lean against me. We're close to home after a few minutes of drunk conversation. "I had one last thing before we turn in for the night, alright? Stay here!" They giggled. There's the fruit stand again!

They come back with a few fresh lavender melons. "Are those lavender melons?" We sit under a tree and look up at the moon. Clouds covering it. I wonder..

"That they are! Dessert.. hm.." They hiccup. "Well I guess fruit isn't the best dessert. But there's a rumor going around with them." They kick off their shoes. "These are fresh, so don't worry about them giving you a tummy ache." They rub their belly while giggling. The alcohol sure has helped lighten them up. They lay down and take a bite. I can't help but stare. The juice flows down their arm and they lick it off. Their eyes half lidded.. somewhat seductive. "It's tasty. Don't judge."

"I uh.. ahem. Well these are my favorite. Dessert... a lavender melon cake sounds like something I could make. I'll try it someday for you." I offer.

"You're not even a slight bit tipsy. Ho-," They hiccup once more interrupting themself. "ew. How." I can't help but chuckle.

"You drank the last two bottles really." I respond. I take a bite of the fruit, and notice that the clouds have cleared. If the new rumor was true.. would it mean? I look over to (Y/N) who has finished their fruit.

"I'm sorry for so much Thoma." They slip their shoes back on. "It's really late now. Much much! colder too. So I'll be heading home. Enjoy the fruit." I quickly scramble to gather the fruit and get up. They don't wait for me, but I hurry to catch up. What's with them?

I grab their wrist to try and get them to stop. "W..wait up will you!" Why are they suddenly apologizing? "For whatever you're sorry about, it's all forgiven really." I heard what they told Ayaka. I can't blame them.

"Liar. Forgiven for all your mistreatment?" I stay silent not knowing how to reassure them. "Whatever. I still have work to do. You don't have to follow me- I mean take me back home." They hiccup once again. "Next time we go out make sure I don't drink much wine. Or any alcohol. My tolerance is loooooowww." They giggle seemingly back to normal. I can't just leave them like this though.

"Work..? I'll make sure you lay off the alcohol tomorrow, but you shouldn't be working this late!" I wrap my arm around their shoulder to steady them. "You're going straight to bed once we get you home!" They start heading in a different direction.

"Nope.. the guy from yesterday.. the road is this way. It's one of the only ones I haven't checked. Then home." I try getting them to stop. "Thoma just go. I can take care of myself." They try breaking free of my grasp. I don't allow it because I'm afraid of them getting hurt.

"No.. you're tipsy and about to go fight hilichurls!" I'm slowly raising his voice at (Y/N) to try and get them to realize the seriousness.

"There's nothing stopping me from leaving home once you leave. So I suggest we go together." I don't try stopping them now, but I'm angry about it. There is in fact hilichurls. Goods are all over the floor. All gone bad and, or smushed. "Tentaculum!" They call out. Water, in the form of tentacles, conceal both of their arms. Only up to their elbows. They move as if they were small ocean waves. I've never seen them use their vision before, and it's absolutely amazing. Quickly they start smacking around the hilichurls. Seeing a mitachurl hurling toward us I call out.

"Don't get too close!" I make a shield to burn off his shield. I hear somewhat of a sizzle. Just as I turn around I see (Y/N) using more water. A wave!
