I've finally done my deed of avenging the traveler, however I was not expecting that ending. Now.. I get to head back to Inazuma and see my Thoma once again. Me and Beidou have a nice long chat, with Kazuha chiming in and out. "It's been 10 years.. I'm so nervous!" She smiles.

"I'm sure nothing will have really changed, even after my long sea trips Ningguang is the same." How much could've Thoma changed. I have no reason to worry, she's right!

"Hmm.." I smile off into the sea. I can see Inazuma coming closer and closer. Kazuha stands beside me as we watch the far land become clearer by the second. It's almost sunset. Thoma will be making supper for him and Ayaka as of now. Once we arrive I wave Beidou and Kazuha goodbye with a large grin. Kazuha is off to meet Gorou for their monthly meet up. Talking to Kazuha again, was a refreshing experience. Come to think of it.. I didn't say anything to Ayaka before I left, ever since I confessed to Thoma. I stop in my tracks and continue slowly. It's been 10 years.. what does she think of me now? Not that I care, but considering her and Thoma have been living together for the past 10 years, has she told him what I was doing between the two of them? I wonder how she'll react when I suddenly show up.

I arrive at their door and wait for a moment. I can hear people inside, multiple people. Are they having a meeting? I cup my hands around my ear and press it against the door.

"Now now, now while Thoma has agreed to marry you," My heart fell to the pit of my stomach. I should've known he wouldn't of waited. He's amazing... of course he'd find someone else. "you must remember Ayaka." Is this Ayato speaking? And to Ayaka..? They're probably setting up the wedding crap. Should I crash it? I step away from the door. I've heard all I needed to. I'll just wait till morning, when my head will hopefully be clear to think this through rationally. Or maybe I should just shift back home. I can script a happy life for me and Thoma, pretend this never happened. I'd always know.. It would probably make me mad at him if anything. Suddenly the door knob starts to jiggle. I duck into the bushes. It's Ayato, he's saying goodbye to everyone. I've only ever met him twice. His mole, in the shape of a teardrop, moving along with his growing smile. Maybe I'll.. date him to get back at Thoma. He shuts the door sighing. I leap out of the bushes grabbing his arm. "Ah!" His shocked face turns back to neutral after a sigh of relief.

"Ayato.." What am I doing.. Dating Ayato? How would I even achieve that. I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me in the slightest. He was always rushing to leave. "I hear you're giving Ayaka away."

"Everyone's heard. I didn't know you were back in town, (Y/N)." He remembers my name? Is that why he looked relieved after seeing it was me?

"I didn't realize you'd remember me." I get closer to him and with a teasing smile as I get an idea. I'll make sure I'm always on Ayato's mind. I wonder if even a slight sliver of Thoma still thinks of me. "Did my first impression go that well?" The closer I get, the more he backs away. Blushing. I laugh and back away.

"I.." He's flustered.. and at a loss for words. This might just work.

"I'm joking! However, I didn't know the head of the Kamisato Clan was such a nervous wreck. Is the nerves due to Ayaka?" I start walking, maybe I can get him to the tea house. It should still be open.

He quickly starts going after me. "Sure... I never really thought Thoma would accept her proposal. Well.. because of you." Maybe that's why he's nervous.

"Me..? If you're nervous because you think I'm gonna be mad about this, you're wrong." How can I be mad at him? I still will be.. but it's not right. I've never so much as even sent him a letter in these 10 years. Mostly because I've been too busy planning revenge. My return was supposed to be a surprise too. Maybe I'll just lie, to make him feel better about all this. I don't owe it to him to, however if he's that nervous around me I might as well. "There was never anything official between us. I don't even think we confessed. It's obvious we both had feelings for each other. But we both knew I wasn't staying for long." I can feel the uneasy air.

"Thoma thought you've been dead (Y/N)." We arrive at the tea house.

"Let's talk inside. Shall we?" He holds the door open for me and we sit inside one of the rooms. "Whats happened these past 10 years.. there's no Inazuma articles you know. Even with Inazuma opening back up it's still hard to hear things." I look over the tea menu. Nothings changed here. Ayaka is still hopelessly in love with Thoma. Like this menu has never bothered with any new teas.

"Well since you left.. for the first few years Thoma was noticeably saddened and continued on as normal. However, 1 year ago he recently was seemingly going back to normal. He and Ayaka got closer I suppose. 3 months ago.. they said they were getting married." I nod and watch someone bring tea, we didn't order.

"The usual." She states before leaving.

"Do you come here often?" I take in the tea's aroma. "Oh!" If there's something I love about Inazuma, it's this flavor of tea. "This is my favorite. You cant find this anywhere outside of Inazuma!" I blow on it and take a small sip. I practically melt.

"In the two times we met, one of them was here. Remember? After tasting your this tea I couldn't get enough of it." Thats not how I remember it.. I had him try some of it and he practically spit it out. He promptly left, I was sure he disliked me. I decide not to press the matter and look at his mole. "Is there something on my face?" He asks nervously.

"When on the battlefield are you this nervous?" He shakes his head. "Then treat me like an enemy. While your flustered face is adorable, how would others perceive you after seeing you so." I take another sip of my tea.

"You're right.. ahem. My apologies. I've just had a hard time, knowing how much Thoma liked you. It's almost sad to know such strong love has dwindled to nothing." Nothing..?
