Nothing.. I'll always love Thoma, how could I forget all the time we shared? "Everyday I watched as you smiled and helped Ayaka try and gain Thoma's heart. It was obvious you liked him too, not so obvious to Ayaka however. I watched the smile come back to Ayaka's face when she was with you. And then your own smile, lighting up every room. After tasting this tea it reminded me of you." I had no idea Ayato was watching me from afar, was he possibly suspicious? I've been awfully careful to make sure I haven't been caught in all this. "Once you left, seeing everyone so down made me miss you in a way." Miss me.. has he stopped missing me since Ayaka and Thoma got married? I'm sure they're as right as rain now. "I only met you three times," Three? I was sure two. What am I forgetting. "yet those three times was all I needed to know, that you were indeed someone Thoma would hold close to his heart for a long time." Am I still there? He's marrying someone for archon's sake..

"As the head of the Kamisato clan, shouldn't you be the one getting married Ayato? Something about politics.. never really understood it." I looked towards his hands, no ring.

"Correct.. in a sense. Nothing much will change with this marriage, so it's being allowed." I suppose that makes sense. "Are you.. jealous?" Like a slash to my heart, a pain surges through me. I look to the tea cup, cracking.

"Not in the slightest, I've had my fair share of fun while on my 10 years away." I lie. There wasn't a moment I wasn't thinking of Thoma.

"That's somewhat reassuring to know." I gave him a tender smile. "I was almost sure you were going to wait out these past few years. I'm sure Thoma will be glad to know you were able to find some fun throughout your trip." I wonder when he stopped waiting for me.. or when that brat weaseled her way into his arms. "Where are you staying tonight?" I was planning on sleeping by the sea, to be honest. In hopes of hearing some sort of advice, somehow.

"Uh..." I looked down at the tea.

"You can come stay with me, as you know, I don't usually stay with Ayaka at the estate. You can say hello to Thoma tomorrow morning. I'm sure it'll be nice to know you're alive and well." It'll be an awkward reunion to say the least.

As we head over to Ayato's house I stare down at the burn Thoma gave me. It never fully went away, yet it always reminded me of how much he cared for me. What will hurting Thoma do? Even though I avenged the traveler, I didn't feel as satisfied as I thought I would. Revenge is never the answer they say. I suppose they're right. In the end, I'm just hurting myself. This is why I should've waited until morning. Once we arrive to his home I sit down on the couch. It's rather comfortable. "Well.." I start trying to cut through the awkward air. "Goodnight?" It's more or a question than anything. He smiles, shaking his head.

"You can sleep in my room, I usually sleep on the couch, passing out due to long nights." He sits down next to me smiling.

"Well if you're sure.." I laugh nervously and head towards his room. It's clean, almost untouched. I curl up in his sheets. I can't help but take in his scent. It's so familiar.. like Thoma's cooking.

The next morning rolls around and Ayato left a note, he's setting up preparations for the wedding. It's.. tomorrow!? I thought he said Thoma proposed 3 months ago!? How could things get along so quickly! It wouldn't hurt to go look at the venue, however. It's.. in Watasumi Island?? So the preparations have to be here. Where though?

After an hour of asking and such, I finally got an answer. I can see Thoma, Ayato, and Ayaka. A florist too.. Windwheels? I sigh. Ayaka is clinging to Thoma's arm. I stride over and do the same to Ayato. "Hey." Ayaka's face drops and she's visibly shocked. Thoma's face is contorted in pain. "It's been a while, hasn't it?" I smile widely.

"(Y/N).." Thoma frees his arm and he reaches out to me. Almost as if to make sure I'm real. I let go of Ayato and pull Thoma into a hug. A real smile spreads on my face. How I've wished he'd held me like this for so long. He's holding on so tight.. Could it be, he still loves me? I'm the first to let go, but not because I wanted to. Just so that Ayato wouldn't think I still loved him. "You're.. here! You're alive!" He pulls me back into an embrace, tighter and somewhat lifting me. I don't hug him back, I'd never let him go if I did. "You never even sent a small sign you were alive! I started believing you had.. died." He's saddened by the thought. I laugh nervously.

"Well.. it's hard to when Inazuma is still mostly closed off. As well as all the work I have to do. I.. can't stay for long." I punch his arm playfully. "But how could I miss your wedding?" A twitchy smile is plastered onto my face. Ayaka grabs onto his arm, slightly pulling him back. "I'll be going soon enough, then back to strangers I suppose." I think I will just go back home. How could I get revenge on Thoma..? Everything I did in Teyvat reminded me of him. Even back home, I'm sure it will. I should've scripted that he wouldn't fall in love with someone else. Yet I believed he wouldn't.. it's human nature to want love. I've been a fool.

"Leaving!? How soon!" Even if he's no longer in love with me, it's clear he still cares.

"Well.. soon. I haven't decided. Maybe the day after tomorrow. Or sometime after your wedding really. I just missed Inazuma and hearing about your wedding, it was the perfect opportunity to use up my holiday break. Otherwise I'll probably go back.. home." Home, to another Teyvat. Where we'll be happy. It just won't be the same, however.

"Please don't go so soon-" Ayaka is irked with his behavior so she jerks him back a bit. I glare down at her. Toying with her will be so much fun. With a heartfelt look I embrace Ayaka.

"I haven't forgotten about the bride, don't you worry Ayaka." I squeeze her tightly, digging my nails into her sides. "How could I forget about the bitch who's getting hitched with my beloved?. You better watch your back.." I let her go smiling. "While I'm here, is there anything I can help with?" I look to Thoma, who smiles.

"Yes. The cake directions were a bit all over the place, I know you understand me well. So, if you would just make sure that's going smoothly?" Ayaka snakes herself around Thoma a small sly smile spreading on her face. It makes me want to slap the crap out of her. I give him a tender smile and go towards the baker's place.

Upon arriving, the refreshing smell of lavender melons invades my senses. Is the cake.. lavender melon?
