Flashback- Summer Before Senior Year

They couldn't stay away from each other. Even when Spencer chose to stay home in Crenshaw, Olivia somehow ended up at his house. After the kiss weeks before, Spencer thought he had scared her off. Instead, they ended up spending more time with each other after promising they'd give their hangouts a break. The break lasted two days and they were back in the each other's space like nothing had happened. Problem was, something did happen and since that thing happened they were in unfamiliar territory. That kiss made them more comfortable with intimacy when it came to one another. More cuddling on the couch when no one was around, a soft hand on the small of the back or random kisses on the cheek. They were behaving as a unit.

One day in Olivia's room, they almost went too far. They were alone and Spencer was in Olivia's room watching her edit a podcast. This wasn't out of the ordinary because in the past he'd wait in her room while she was drawing or working on outlines for her podcasts.

"What are you looking at," Olivia asked, noticing Spencer's gaze on her as she finished the last edit and pressed upload.

"You," he replied, watching Olivia's cheeks immediately turn red. Olivia put her laptop on her bedside table and slowly crawled across the bed until she was straddling Spencer's lap.

"It's rude to stare," she whispered against his lips before capturing them in a kiss. Spencer quickly deepened the kiss, his hands finding Olivia's waist as her hips rolled into his. The friction between their bodies creating more tension. Olivia looked over at her door to make sure it was locked before pushing Spencer back on her bed.

The front door closed and loud voices from downstairs interrupted them from going any further. Olivia rushed to her feet and straightened her shorts as Spencer followed her out of her room. They made it out right before Jordan and Simone walked up the steps.

Attempting to hide their guilty faces, they acted as though they were preoccupied with the laundry sitting out in the hallway.

Present Day

They were back in the same spot they were years ago. Crossing the line and unable to jump back over. This time they didn't even try to keep their distance. Spencer was knocking on Olivia's door the next morning and didn't even give her time to say good morning before his lips were on hers and they were stumbling around the living room.

"My roommate..." Olivia tried to start a sentence but became a stuttering mess when Spencer's lips traveled to the sensitive spot on her neck. He remembered.

"Your room," he whispered, trying to keep quiet as they bumped into the walls until they finally reached Olivia's bedroom door. She moaned as their bodies collided and she could feel how much he wanted this too. She twisted the handle to her door, sending them both staggering inside.

"What about your game," she asked, pulling his shirt above his head before he stopped her. "Am I misreading the situation?"

"Nah, I gotta keep my energy for this game. I came over here to take care of you," he responded, pushing Olivia back towards the bed she had just made. "After last night, I felt bad for letting your dad interrupt."

"We shouldn't be doing this anyway, Spence," Olivia replied, her head falling back. "Fuck, we shouldn't be doing this."

"Want me to stop," Spencer pulled away, waiting for confirmation that this is what Olivia wanted before he continued.

She shook her head 'no' in response and sat back on her bed and scooted towards the center. Her eyes stayed on Spencer as he reached for the bottom of her shorts, slowly pulling them down her legs and tossing them to the floor. Grabbing her ankle, he pulled her to the edge of the bed and got on his knees.
