Spencer's phone had been ringing for two days straight. Most of the calls coming from Olivia. No one knew what had happened with Cheyenne. All Coop and Patience knew was that Spencer was completely done with her and maybe even done with them for allowing her to tag along. He had listened to the voicemails and read the text messages from Olivia and he hated that he didn't care right now. Whatever words she and Cheyenne had didn't phase him. Talking to either one of them took too much energy that he didn't have.
Needing proper space and not wanting to be bothered by anyone, Spencer decided to stay in a fancy hotel suite for a few days before he had to leave for his away game. To sort through his thoughts without interruption. He hadn't felt this type of hurt for awhile. Although he no longer had feelings for Cheyenne, her getting rid of his unborn child to hurt him made him feel sick. What did he do to her to deserve that? He was tired of being lied to and what Cheyenne did made her no better than Corey, the man she compared Spencer to as another jab.
Spencer's anger and tears quickly turned into guilt and second guessing. Olivia Baker had been the common denominator in two of his relationships ending. And yet, he still didn't have her and they were still playing the will they, won't they game. A game he was growing tired of and he was beginning to think they just weren't meant to be. Maybe Olivia was right. There was always someone between them. But somehow she was the one always in between him and the next woman. It was time to accept things for what they were. No matter how tough the pill was to swallow. It was time to let her go.
"If I would have known that, she wouldn't have been allowed in my house," Grace mentioned after Spencer finally called and told her what had happened.
Spencer frowned, "She was still coming over to visit after I left?"
"We had dinner every once in awhile. When she was stressed about school or missing you, she'd come over. Some days she was a mess whenever she had to deal with her mother. You know how she can be," Grace explained. "What she did was wrong. But it's not a shock when her m.."
"You're always giving people benefit of the doubt that don't deserve it, ma," Spencer cut in. "Her mom being crazy doesn't excuse her doing what she did. It wasn't like she was afraid or just didn't want the baby. She literally did that out of spite. Come on, now."
"I know. I know," She sighed. "No excuse. I'm sorry, baby. You didn't deserve that and if I see her around here, I'm going to have to say something."
"Do you think I'm like dad," Spencer asked, throwing his mother off. "Like the bad parts of him?"
"No, what would make you ask a silly question like that, son?"
"Someone told me I had his tendencies. I know who I am as a man but just wanted to make sure I'm not turning into that version of Corey," Spencer explained, throwing himself on the hotel bed.
"If Cheyenne told you that, she was just trying to hurt you. You and I both know that isn't true so don't sweat it."

Olivia didn't give up on trying to reach Spencer. At first she was angry and wanting to tell him what happened with Cheyenne and soon that anger turned to worry when Spencer wasn't home. When she reached out to Grace, she was told Spencer needed space but he was safe."After what we heard on the balcony the other day, dude must be spooked," Trinity shrugged.
"What did you hear on the balcony," Olivia asked Keisha and Trinity who were clearly withholding information. "What'd you hear," she repeated when Trinity's face dropped.
