I've been wanting to start a book like this for quite some time. I'm excited to share this one!
It takes place in the early 1900s. The main character, Natalia, is a young woman who's travelling with her family to her new home. On the way, there's a huge storm that forces them to separate. She ends up floating to the hidden island of the Amazons. No one has entered their land in two thousand years.
Natalia slowly learns the ways of the Amazons and falls in love with Queen Yesenia.
Just a note, some of the Amazonian women are gp/intersex, meaning they have male genitals. In my story, this is how they are able to reproduce without needing men and external humans. The Queen is one of them.
