Chapter 3

"Are you ready?" Lix nodded as he could only do so and so they had finally begun.

Lix's POV

I think I'm dying...

"Hey kid, don't give up now!" Mr. Chris laughed as he watched me all sprawled out on the ground as I was catching my breath. "You have the right body and it needs a little more training to buff those muscles up." He added.

I bet by little he meant training for more hours. For today, Mr. Sky  planned out a basic training session that would probably be my routine for the next few days. With the help of Mr. Chris' encouragement, I was able to have a full cycle of the said plan.

This plan includes stretching, strengthening, push ups, lunges and more. I also did kick boxing with Mr. Rhino, and he's so good at it.

It's been 3 hours already and I'm exhausted. Mr. Sky came up to me, who was again on the ground. "Take a break for an hour, your next session is back inside the house with Peter."

I looked at the only person who I didn't know and nodded a bit, recognizing Mr. Sky's instructions. So Peter is his name. He's wearing a black hoodie that hides his face.

"Don't worry, I think you two are the same age. He's a quiet kid, like I said. Once you prove something, he'll recognize you."

I see he's a hard to please kind of person. I have to do well then. "Kid take this..." This time it's Mr. Rhino threw a water bottle towards me. "Keep yourself hydrated or the Boss will kill us for not taking care of you." He said as he walked away, but before he could disappear from my view he mumbled something.

"The last thing I wanna see is an angry boss..." He then sighed.

"Angry Mr. Sam?!" I said to myself, confused. So he could get angry as well. Wait, I should also call him formally like everyone does.

"Boss..." I think that came out different. I mean it felt nice and an honor to call him like that. Cause he deserves respect the most. I know, I know, I just met him once, but then again he himself makes me wanna just obey him. I wanna give him everything of me. If I live for him, then I'll die for him too.

"So your name is Lix, right?" I turned my head to find Peter looking at me. Now, now, why is everyone in this group good looking, but then again, the boss is the most handsome looking here... Wait! What am I thinking?!

"Yes sir."

"Don't call me sir, just Peter, I think we're the same age." He bluntly said before walking away. He's quite scary as well.

And an hour passed and Mr. Sky led me to a huge library. Everywhere you look, books occupy the place. It was nice and comfy. In the distance, Peter was waiting by. "What are we going to do here?" I asked them.

"Part of your training is learning the basics. Peter here is capable of teaching you everything."

"You mean like in what they call school?" They nodded and Peter started to gather books, placing them on the table. "Come and sit, we'll start with writing."

I took a seat and looked forward to the next act. Peter went somewhere, living with me and Mr. Sky was alone for a bit as he then quickly came back pushing a wheeled blackboard. He was having quite a hard time as it was too heavy. I stood up to help him, but it was too late as Mr. Sky sighed and went to him.

"Need help?" Peter held his head down but nodded anyway. Mr. Sky pushed the board like it wasn't heavy at all, Peter, on the other hand, was staring at Mr. Sky, surprised and embarrassed as a blush was a little bit visible in his face.

"Now, I'm going out for a while. Peter here will take care of you." Said Mr. Sky after placing the board in front of me. But before he could, Peter grabbed his attention. "Hyung, Thanks" he softly said, which Mr. Sky nodded in response.

Peter's eyes followed him all the way to the door. "Peter, do you like Mr. Sky?" The mere question itself got him all red. He didn't say a thing, which made me giggle a bit. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."

"Well then, let's start..." He said along with a fake cough.

The study session took another 2 hours, but I enjoyed it. I learned how to write the alphabet and numbers. I think I also got closer with Peter, which is great.

"You're a fast learner, so next session won't be a problem at all. If you have time tonight, practice writing. Here, I'll give you this pen and notebook..." He handed it to me. "Thank you Peter, I will do my best!" He smiled, which was the first, so I did as well.

"And yeah, before you go. Please don't tell anyone about my Crush thing about Sky-hyung." He's red again.

"Don't worry! Then this will be our secret!" He nodded before walking out first. I grabbed the notebook and pen, before finally going out of the library.

As soon as I got out, I saw Mr. Sky coming to me. "Mr. Sky..."

"You should go back to your room. There's a call for you..." I looked at him, blinking my eyes, confused.

"Call? For me? From who?"

He said a tsk, but controlled himself from saying something. I'm telling you, he's scary. "From the boss..."

My eyes widened in surprise, he walked away after saying to go fast. And so I did, as if I was running from something. I finally arrived at my room. The telephone from the nightstand rang out loud, which surprised me so much. I went over it and picked it up.

"H-hello?"

"Lix, it's me..." His voice, it's nice to hear it again. "Boss..." I started.

"Hmmm...I would like it better if you call me Hyung." Now I was as red as Peter earlier.

Note:

• Hyung is used by Korean males to address another male older than them who they are close to. Hyung literally means “older brother”.

• A younger male will use the Korean word. 누나 (noona) to address a female friend who is older.

• oppa meaning in Korean is an older brother. It is used when a woman is calling or talking to an older man whether he is related to her or not.

•For females and another female that is older than the other, the word to call them by is 언니 (unnie)

• Sunbaenim means respectable senior, elder, officer, etc. The word is used by the male and female both for their seniors whether they are in rank, position, level, job etc.

How is it??? I added some Korean words as well and some meanings of it above for those who still don't know.
