Chapter 4

"Hmmm...I would like it better if you call me Hyung." Now I was as red as Peter earlier.

Sam's POV

I was suddenly confused and worried as the other side was in silence. "Lix?"

"Yes, H-hyung..." I would be lying if that word and his deep voice didn't make my heart skip a beat. This kid has something that is pulling me towards him. It was like yesterday was a year already.

"Are you okay?"

"A-ah, yes. Are you?" He asked. I find his stuttering cute. I laughed a bit. "So what did you do today? Can you tell Hyung?" It went silent again but I heard him breathe for quite a long time before breathing out. Now I think I have found a hobby...teasing him.

"Mr. Sky has planned out my routine. For now, he said I'll do basic things,, like daily exercise and all to gain more muscle..." He started and he seemed to be too into telling me the story that he didn't stutter anymore. I think he's opening up already...

"Mr. Chris and Mr. Rhino guided me throughout. And Peter taught me how to write. I finally know how to write the alphabet and even the numbers. And it's all thanks to you..." He ended. I chuckled. I looked at my watch and it was almost lunch time.

"It's almost lunch time, how about you go downstairs and find Bob? I already told him to make something for you and I think it's done." He said thank you. As I was about to cut the line off, he asked something unexpected.

"Hyung, when are you coming back?"

"I still don't know." I heard him huff, which made me grin. It's a lie though, like what I said to Sky, I'll be back next month and that's just 3 weeks from now.

"But don't worry baby. I'm going back as soon as my work is done, okay?"

"O-okay, hyung." he got shy. That 'baby' kinda rolled out perfectly in my mouth. "Bye-bye, do your best." I said and finally put it down.

Ahhhh how adorable!

Lix's POV

H-hyung called me baby?!! Ahhh I can feel my face heat up. Oh my God, my heart is skipping too much.

Breath in, breath out...

Relax, Lix. You idiot heart, stop pounding already. I need some food. Hyung said to find someone named Bob.

I got down and went directly to the dining room, where I found a guy preparing the table. "Oh your Lix, right?" He asked, which I nodded in confirmation. "Come sit, Boss picked these just for you. You weren't able to join us earlier, right? So I think I overdid and gave you too much portion." He smiled.

"Thank you." He sat in front and soon we ate together, but that didn't stop us from talking.

"I heard your 19, cause I too. We're friends then!" I nodded and smiled back. "How about the others?" I asked.

"Ah, some are on a mission and some have got some housework, so they'll be here later."

"Are you the only cook here?"

"Not really, sometimes Chris-hyung and even Sky-hyung help." I froze to hear that Mr. Sky also cooks, wow. "Do you know how to cook?"

"Well, a little..." Yes, I knew how to cook during the time I was a slave by a gang. I learned with the help of another slave. We escaped together...

I wonder how he is...

I was only 18 when I was picked up by some gang, as they call themselves. I was grateful at first as they treated me well. That was until the door of their home opened for me to see an older guy, naked and bruised up. It was horrible. His pale skin made the bruises even more visible.

Even though he was in pain, they still ordered him to clean the house, serve them, cook for them. I was almost in tears, it hurts so much watching him. So I helped him, but because of that, they made me a slave too, to help him with the households. Well, that's okay, at least he won't be doing these tasks alone.

For months he taught me everything about work. He was a good cook too and I was so eager to learn from him, that he had no choice but to do so. Seeing him smile like that made me smile too, and it was the first time. But then his smile became a frown when those thugs came back...

It was night already and I could hear his helpless screams in the other room. I can't imagine what could be happening behind those doors.

"Hyung..." I cried. Soon enough, the noise stopped and here they came out with a smug on their faces that I so wanna punch it over and over till they die.

"Oi! Clean him up..." They said with a laugh and went out once again.

I slowly went in and to bed. Hyung was curled up and crying out loud. I didn't know what to do, so I went to him and hugged him as both of us were shedding tears. "Sorry Lix, you had to see me like this..." He said.

"Hyung, let's get out of here!" I said, and without hesitation he nodded. I packed up his things and it was a good thing they went out, drunk enough to forget about locking the door. Those idiots! Hyung once told me he has a family probably waiting for him and even asked me to go with him.

I don't wanna bother him anymore, I know he has a lot to do after all those years being held captive by them. As we were far enough from that place, I bought him a train ticket with the money I stole back in the den. And this was also the time to say goodbye...

"Hyung promise me we'll meet each other again?!"

"Yes, I promised Lix!"

And that's how we got separated. I hope he's doing fine! And wish him all the best. I miss him and would want to meet him again like what we promised to each other.

Oh yeah, at that time I didn't even have a chance to tell him...

yah you idiot Lix.

Though I'm not really sure, I think I have a crush on Luca-hyung...

I was too in my thoughts, when one of the men came inside. "Bob, we got a problem..."

"Hyung?!"

"The Mambas are in fight with our comrades assigned downtown. Sky is calling everyone outside...well except for you..." The man said, pointing at me.

"He said you go proceed to the practice room. Rhino is waiting for you..."

Not so much here. I'm excited for the next chapter tho. It'll be my first time to write action...opssssss ←_←
