Part 49 Excitement
Arnav and Khushi had breakfast with Arvind and Ratna.
"Very good breakfast, aunty..." Khushi said.
Arnav looked at Khushi contently.
"I mean, Amma" Khushi smiled.
Ratna adored them.
"Khushi, make it fast. We have to get ready" Said Arnav.
"Where are you taking her?" Ratna asked.
"Suspense" Arnav stood finishing breakfast.
Ratna looked at Khushi questioningly. She nodded no.
"Chotte, I thought you won't go anywhere today. So, I took off"
"No problem Dad. We will be back soon"
Arvind nodded ok. Arnav went to his room and Khushi followed him.
"Khushi, wear something light," Arnav said.
Khushi nodded ok and took out her blue color cotton salwar from the bag. She got changed quickly and came out of the washroom. She was awe-stuck, seeing Arnav wearing the same color T-shirt of Khushi's salwar. She looked at herself and then Arnav. Arnav smiled.
"Arnavji... I'm sure many BAD EYES are going to fall on us"
"Why?" he asked, putting his hands in his pant pocket.
"Look at us... we are wearing the same color dress."
"So?"
"So, all the eyes are going to be on us"
"So?"
"So, what? Their BAD eyes will cause something bad to us" she said worriedly.
"Wait..."
He reached her and extended his hand towards her eye. Khushi flinched back.
"Shhh" Arnav took kohl from her eyes and kept it behind her ear.
"Now, no bad eyes could do anything..." he smiled.
Taking kohl from the box, she applied it behind his ear and then on his cheek.
"What the...kkk..."
"More than me, you are the one who is going to get affected by the bad eyes... people will definitely get a heart attack, seeing your utter change. Don't know how many of them are going to faint," she said with fake concern.
Arnav laughed while removing the kohl from his cheek, using tissue paper.
"Let's go..."
They came out of the room. Ratna and Arvind looked at them with mouths open.
"Khushi, bad eyes started falling on us" Arnav laughed.
Khushi controlled her laughter biting her lip.
"What is this Chotte?" Arvind asked.
"What?"
"You guys are looking matching, matching..."
"Yeah... we got matched a long ago. So?"
"I'm talking about your dress"
"Don't we look nice?"
"Amazing"
"Then what?"
"Nothing..." Arvind sighed.
They didn't see Ratna there.
"Where is Mom?"
Arvind looked here and there.
