Heartland Academy is a middle school for students who reside in Heartland City. The school is a large, circular building with many facilities for the students who attend there. It's also a perfect place for students to relax and duel during their breaks.

|RING RING|

The bell rang as class was over. A confident young ran down the hallway looking for a certain purple-haired boy with Astral. "Where can Shark be? I know he's skipping class and all but still.."

"Is it necessary to find him? Despite what I told you about what Eliphas has said." Astral asked with his arm crossed over his chest.

Yuma stopped his tracks before turning to his friend. "Well yeah, who knows what kind of problem is at Astral World." He looked down at the ground with a severe expression on his face. "We might not know who this person is, but all I know is that they might need our help when Eliphas said he wants us to look after them here."

Astral stood there quietly, looking at Yuma with concern before catching a familiar blue hair girl in the corner of his eye. "Yuma, Rio is here. Maybe try asking her where Nasch is." He suggests, gaining the red spiked boy's attention before looking forward.

"Hey, Shark's baby sister! Do you know where Shark is?" He ran towards Rio, who looked slightly annoyed by that nickname. But, of course, she was used to it, though that doesn't give him the excuse to use it still.

"Don't call me that! And no, I haven't seen Ryouga, he's probably at his usual place, and I'm pretty sure you won't have enough time." Rio said. Letting out a heavy sigh. But he noticed the dejected expression she had.

"Hey, something is wrong? You usually look confident every day." Yuma pointed out, her eyes twitched slightly.

"Well, despite the sudden text message you gave us. It sure made everyone tired. Even Vector looked stressed despite what happened before."

"Oh, how is he?"

"He's fine, but he kept pranking Mizael all day."

"Ah, that sure sounds like him," Yuma sweat dropped by the sudden information. "But hey! Don't let it get to you. Everything might be fine once we go to Astral World."

"Yeah, fine..." Rio trailed off, looking down at the floor. Astral noticed this. There might be something else she wanted to say. "Hey Yuma, I–"

She let out a sigh of relief, Yuma groaned. "Dang, class is about to start again. Hey, how about you and the others meet us after school. We might be able to plan things there before traveling to Astral World."

Rio gave him a small smile and nodded, watching the boy run back to class, leaving her alone in the hallway. She nervously rubbed her arm, looking around her surroundings, noting that everyone had gone back to their class.

"I guess I'll skip class for once." But Yuma was right, this isn't like her, but she decided it's the best for her.

Unknowing back in Astral World, a tall figure walked towards another who wore a robe with their hood up, kneeled on the ground, head hung low with arms up in red chains hanging on the side of the pillars. A barrier was blocking the tall figure from getting close. So they just stood there looking at the person with sorrow in their eyes.

"It's hard for you to hold back any longer. Isn't it, dear flower?" They asked. The person didn't answer, only to remain silent. "I know how you feel right now, but I promise you. Once the curse is broken, you'll be free to see them again, to be normal again. What do you say, Tsubaki?"

They thought she wouldn't answer for a moment, so they sighed, turning their heel about to leave until they heard the sound of chains rattling. Then, glancing over their shoulder to see them lifting their head slightly.

"Will they even want to see me, Silvanus?" Tsubaki asked. "Will they even remember me?"

Silvanus sighed, clasping his hands together, "I'm not quite sure if I can answer the first question, but I know they won't be able to remember despite Don Thousand erasing their memories of you when sealed in this world." Hearing the answer to her second question made her lower her head back.

"It seems my chances are gone once again... Like always."

"I wouldn't say always, but wouldn't it be a chance for you to prove yourself you're not the Barian you were in thirteen years ago."

"...What are you trying to say, Silvanus?"

"You have a powerful ambition, wanting to prove yourself that you aren't who you were to your people. Not being a barian, you once were at all. And that you want your 'friends' to notice your hard work, don't you?" Every word he spoke was accurate. Everything he said was true. "Would you like to tell me what you hate?"

"What I hate...?" Tsubaki repeated.

"Yes, what do you hate, my dear?"

She thought for a moment before speaking, "I was such a fool of greed in the past, wanting my people to understand. A fool full of ambition who has the desire to want attention to see my achievement." She choked on her words. "I hate greed... They are the reason why I'm in this position right now...."

The man hummed in awareness, knowing how much this girl suffered over these years, holding back those tears and not showing any single emotion. She wanted attention.

"What a greedy flower you are. But by its looks, you seem to be able to communicate with one of your old comrades, I assume."

"What's the use of it? There's no reason for her to worry, even if they can't remember me." She responded. "I am a forgotten Barian Emperor who abandoned their world and massacred many people here. Who would ever forgive me for the sins I have committed?"

Such sorrow can create such misery in their body and mind.

"Have you thought about No.108 and No.75?" Silvanus asked, gaining Tsubaki's attention. "They know you did it for a reason, but sadly can't tell you that despite No.75 was your very old friend in the past. "

"...They were the only ones who felt the same and understood me."

"And No.108?"

She stayed silent, "They saw everything, knowing my feelings had to do with it...."

Silvanus hummed before his ears perked, hearing the sudden footstep echoing through the hallway on his left.

"It seems my visit is at its end," he bowed before taking his leave, "'Till we meet again."

And just like that he disappeared but not being able to hearing the words left from Tsubaki.

"You're a very strange deity...."
