Chapter 6

                      Author: I already planned out how this book would end but I did a lil too much planning 😭 I now have 2 different Endings and I don't know which ending to choose.

                          Narutos pov

"Can't believe he escaped right when we had him where we wanted." Shikamaru complained.

"That plan was perfect, although I wished you two had told me earlier and not give me a heart attack." Amado said.

"Sorry, I knew that if we linked up Code would show himself." I explained.

"Is his mark still on you?" Shikamaru asked.

"No it's gone..."

"Codes claw marks, along with the metallic material it's also infused with the iron inside of his body. "Amado explained. "So if he overuses it, he would experience iron deficiency and get dizzy or light headed."

"Well that's good to know, the ability to slip through things at will is insane." Shikamaru said.

"Do you have an idea of what Codes planning next Amado?" I asked.

"No, but we do know he wants me.." Amado said. "He'll come back soon, I don't know how or when though..."

"Looks like we're going to need to toughen up for the next attack." Shikamaru said.

"I'm home..."

"Welcome home Naruto." Hinata said. "Did everything turn out okay?"

"Yeah, but that bastard got away." I said in anger. "He's really hurt though, he probably won't be back soon."

Somethings missing here...

"Where's hima?" I asked.

"She's been in her room quietly all day." Hinata responded. "I tried to talk to her but, she didn't say anything at all..."

"She must be depressed, I'll go see if I can help."

"Please do, and dinner would be ready soon too."

"Okay!"

I walked upstairs to her room. It's way too quiet here, without Boruto this place feels dead and empty...

I knocked on Himas door...

"Hima?" I asked. "It's your dad..."

No response...

"Can I come in?"

No response...

"I'll take that as a yes...."

I slowly opened the door

"Hima?" I quietly called out.

Hima was laying down on her bed, holding a picture of Boruto and herself...

"Hima..."

                         Mitsukis pov

"This is risky."

I was barely conscious, it seemed like my parents was healing me... considering that's the only reason why I'm in this test tube right now.

"Yes, the cells closest to regenerating are breaking down." My parent said. "This is more serious than I thought."

"That Mitsuki." My parent complained. "After all the times I told him not to use Sage Transformation..."

"You're worried about Mitsuki, aren't you?" Log asked.

"He's..... valuable to me." My parent said walking towards the tube I was in. "Losing him now would be very disappointing..."

"His organs are no good, we'll have to regenerate them from scratch."

"Let's get ready..." My parent said.

"Is there enough time if we start now?" Log asked.

"I just hope that his body holds up until then, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it."

Sorry for the trouble I caused.... I think I let my emotions get the best of me....

                         Short chapter... but next chapter is where I'm going to be stuck because the next chapter influences the 2 Endings I have, so would you guys like

Ending 1 - Story ends after the major fight with code.

Ending 2 - Something happens during the Code fight that allows me to continue the story with a new plot line.
