Chapter 20

Sarada's Pov

"I'm home."

"Welcome home Dad!" I yelled.

"Sasuke," Mom said. "I think it's time to tell her your story."

"You think so?" Dad questioned.

"Yeah, it's only right for her to know." Mom said.

"You're right." Dad said.

Dad's backstory, I'm finally going to be able to hear it.

"So, what happened?" I asked.

"Back when I was your age, the Uchiha clan was murdered in cold blood by my late Brother, your uncle Uchiha Itachi...."

"Wait what...." My heart dropped. "W-why did he...."

"I made it my goal to kill my brother, it was my only reason for living, he killed my mother and father, slaughtered our clan, and he was a rogue Shinobi and an Akatsuki member." Dad explained. "Itachi had mentally tortured me with countless of genjutsu's, which led me to strive to gain more power by any means, I abandoned my team with Naruto and Sakura, and became a rogue Ninja."

"Y-you were a rogue ninja?"

"Yeah, I went over to Orochimaru who became my sensei and gave me power in the form of a curse mark," Dad said. "Four years of training, it was finally time for me to fight my brother to the death, around the time this is where I met Karin, Jugo and Suigetsu, we were in a team called the Hebi, but going back to the battle with Itachi, it was a long tiring battle, but Itachi had died from chakra exhaustion right in front of me, I thought I had completed my goal, but the leader of the Akatsuki, a man in an orange mask who originally declared the fourth great ninja war told me the truth of my brother, that everything he did was to protect me."

"The truth?" I questioned, "To protect you!? That doesn't make any sense!?

"Yeah, he slaughtered the entire Uchiha clan and fled the village, but he was ordered to do so by Konoha." Dad said.

"It was his mission to do so!?" I yelled. "I don't understand...."

"In order to explain your uncle's story, We have to go back to the beginning, a problem that goes back to the very origins of the founding of the leaf village that determined Itachi's Life."

"It all started more than ninety years ago, where the Senju and Uchiha clan were at war, with the Senju clan being led by Senju Hashirama who would become the first man to claim the title Hokage, and the Uchiha clan being led by Uchiha Madara, the two clans was acknowledged as the fiercest, and the most feared by every other shinobi clan." Dad explained. "Whenever the Senju clan made a move, the Uchiha's moved as well. Our clan were pretty much the only one who could take them on, if a nation hired Senjus, their opponent would hire Uchihas, we ended up being their rivals."

"As the Uchiha's name increased in prominence , so did the number of the Senju, a lot of battles took place to the point where Madara had gone blind from continuous usage of the Mangekyou Sharingan" Dad said. "Madara had a little brother who sacrificed his eyes to Madara, to protect the clan from the Senju clan."

"How does sacrificing one's eye protect the clan?" I asked.

"That's how you awaken the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan." Dad explained. "By transplanting your relatives Mangekyou Sharingan into yours, an ultimate sacrifice in exchange for an everlasting power.

"Does that mean you...."

"We'll get to that in a bit." Dad said.

"Ok."
